Is this a sexually oriented business?

Off the bat, I'd say yes. But it's kind of a gray area.

I feel like lingerie modeling is considered a sexually oriented business, so why not this?

It's pretty sexy, but not really /sexual/. I mean, she's not selling sex. It's hardly any different than pron, I would think. It's sexual, but not sex.

not necessarily. there are a bunch of groups that actually run services like this, purely for entertainment and NOT for sex.

Ya I think so. Cleaning is the business and naked is the sexual.

In the spirit of the law yes, by the letter of the law if done carefully you could avoid technically breaking the law I think.

I voted other. If she is trying to have a business like that, I am sure she needs permits that are similar to running a Strip Club. I think that her business is just as sexually oriented as a strip club and they need special permits. She should have investigated what she needed before starting such a business.

Sex sells. She knows this, and that's why she's offering naked or lingerie services in the first place. It doesn't add anything to the cleaning to be naked or wear lingerie. In fact, I think it would be harder to clean in lingerie!

If they are naked in someone's house, I wonder how often these cleaning ladies will be victimized or not participate in something sexual.

Sex and sexual acts aren't happening, but then, strip clubs and topless car washes are sexually oriented, right?

The permit isn't really that expensive, but I can understand why she would object to it on principal.

I just commented on the safety!

I would still think that it would be easy for her and one other person to be victimized. Not to mention, what sort of a signal can she give from inside of a home?

if it was not sexually oriented, why does she need to sell it with her being nude? I know alot of people like to overthink things, not sure why. But if this had nothing to do with sex (not that she is selling sexual favors), she would not be doing it nude.
