If you look at the thread about transgendered kids, Bignuf's reaction to criticism was becoming defensive, talking about herself, ignoring the points that were being made from multiple people, and relying on her prejudgments rather than on critical thought.
She's the one being a bully, flaunting her supposed medical knowledge, experience, and implied intelligence as a crutch to support her arguments when she can't directly back them up otherwise. When she's wrong, she either back-pedals or resorts to inflated self-supporting rants, straying from whatever topic to making herself look good instead. Search the forums and you'll find other instances of this behavior.
Look at this very thread: I called out the hallowed expert for writing "Aid's" rather than "AIDS". Lori obviously understood the jab. Bignuf's reaction was to post SIX posts back to back (windbag), with an irrational assumption that I wanted her to spell out the acronym AIDS, and with her usual assertions of "I've done this" and "I've done that" and "I have friends who..." (pompous).
If someone's going to use a display of intelligence as the foundation for arguments, that display should start with the person's writing, regardless of "Spell Check" which shouldn't be written with capital letters and which is the wrong term since Bignuf's actually blaming autocorrect. Of course, the more important matter is that writing should reflect rational arguments and facts, not appeals to one's personal status.
Bignuf's legacy on the forums isn't that of an open-minded sex-positive thinker; it's that of a narcissist who enjoys showing off her medical prestige or her love for anal sex.
