It's interesting how the mind works. When I read Denis Leary's book "Why We Suck" I heard his voice the entire time. When I read Stephen King or Ray Bradbury, I hear their voices. When I read a book and people are in a house, my mind conjures a house out of my memory, which stays, no matter what I do. (Usually a friend's house from my childhood. I don't know why.)
But, I don't do this for reviews. I hear a generic female voice for women's reviews, some of the time, and often hear a generic male voice for men's reviews (except for Kindred, I hear his voice because I know what it sounds like when I read his reviews) and I hear no voice for some people.
I hope my reviews aren't the ones js hears Joan Rivers for. I sound nothing like her.

I just realized something, since you mention not sounding like Joan Rivers: The "Andy" reviewer actually sounds nothing like Andy from The Office! He has posted a few video reviews, so I have heard his actual voice, and his voice isn't similar at all. However, I still read his written reviews and hear the voice of Andy every time. I had actually started thinking this before I ever heard his actual voice, since initially he hadn't posted any video reviews. As I had said, it is mostly the way it read, specifically because of the choice of words and jokes thrown in, they remind me completely of Andy. I think I've even thought it watching his videos since it is mostly the way he speaks, not the sound of his voice.
