Is it just me, or when reading certain reviews....?

Contributor: mistressg mistressg
I am wondering if there are any other reviewers out there that do this, or if it's just me...

There is one reviewer in particular that comes to mind for me, but every time I read his reviews I realize that the voice I hear when I read them is Andy from The Office. It's not a negative thing at all, it's the little jokes thrown in, and the phrases and tone. I know there are certain reviewers who's reviews always read in a certain voice for me, or remind me of someone, though this one reviewer stands out in my mind the most as an example.

I hope I am explaining this well, but I wanted to pose this question to the Eden community to see if it's just me. Are there certain reviewers that always read in a certain voice to you when you read them? They make that makes you think of someone else that you know, or a character from something?

Not me, but that's so cool! I wonder if anyone reads me as any voice but the one from my videos... When I write I always have the voice of this one singer in my head, but that's about it.

It's interesting how the mind works. When I read Denis Leary's book "Why We Suck" I heard his voice the entire time. When I read Stephen King or Ray Bradbury, I hear their voices. When I read a book and people are in a house, my mind conjures a house out of my memory, which stays, no matter what I do. (Usually a friend's house from my childhood. I don't know why.)

But, I don't do this for reviews. I hear a generic female voice for women's reviews, some of the time, and often hear a generic male voice for men's reviews (except for Kindred, I hear his voice because I know what it sounds like when I read his reviews) and I hear no voice for some people.

I hope my reviews aren't the ones js hears Joan Rivers for. I sound nothing like her.

I'm going to make a conscious effort now to read someone's review in the voice of the Professor from Futurama.

I give them voices, but I haven't noticed a particular trend of voices.
