Bed bugs are not ubiquitous and, if you did have them in your bed, simply washing the sheets every day would not get rid of them. Unless you are talking about dust mites which are a whole other kettle of fish.
I'm afraid of wasps, but I loathe lady bugs. I've hated them since the time one of them tried to CRAWL INTO MY EYE while I was sleeping. They also come into my room for the express purpose of dying on my window sill which has not endeared them to me either.
