Depends on the country, pay, benefits, will there be a house ready when I get there, etc.
If you were offered a job in a different country, would you go?

It depends on the country but this would pertain more to my husband than I just because he is army. His answer would be definitely..If he's told to go somewhere he goes. I don't know of any nursing jobs that would require me to leave the country.

That would really depend upon many factors but to distill those down, I could say like many others already have "It would depend on which country".
If that country used the same Latin alphabet consisting of 26 letters that's used in English, that would be a plus. A country where either English or German is used would be quite acceptable since I'm sort of competent in those. I do not however think that I would emerge unscathed from one of the Islamic theocracies or absolute monarchies for that matter.

I agree. The opportunity to truly learn that there are some major differences between how we Americans live and residents some other country is quite interesting.

Hellz to the yes (but I also Hate where I live)
07/23/2012
Only if it was in the UK or Ireland. I've always wanted to live there

i would def want to but it also depends on the country. don't wan a go somewhere where i can easily get killed
07/23/2012
I'd go, though there is the problem of if my husband can come and find a job too...

Depends on the country, I was offered a job in China to start a Joint Venture but I declined. It's a communist country and all they want is our proprietary information so they can build it themselves. Don't ever do business with China, Don't!

It would depend on the country. There are places I would never go, and places I'd love to.

Yes.
07/24/2012
It would be a hard choice for me. Plus where am I going too.
07/25/2012
I have been waiting for an opportunity like this for years.

maybe, it would be a hard choice

I've done it before, and probably would again.

Depends on where. Being a female, there's places I'd deny right away. But if it was like Germany or Ireland or somewhere, I'd go yes.

i love it here WAY too much, warts and all, to think about anywhere else. Even the "good" places, never mind the not-so-good

You need to decide quickly, because if you say yes, you're leaving quickly! Woud you go?
To keep things simple, assume the job is one you'd be content with for the long haul and the country is not one you dislike, but not necessarily one you love. (so different, but no extreme visceral reaction on either end). less

Probably, it depends on the country and the pay and the housing I could get.
