Do you use a camera or your cell phone...or some other device?
If you are at an event or traveling, and want to take photos, what do you use?

I need to get a smaller camera, or just a smart phone...

If I'm out anywhere there is potential for "real" photography, my camera bag is slung over my shoulder with all of my lenses in tow.
If I'm just out running around, I always have my cell phone with me for quick snaps!

My last big trip, to NY, i used my cell phone to document the trip. However my phone's camera died since, and so have both of my digital cameras. Really my only option left is disposable cameras.

I use whatever I have in my bag and that depends on where I am going and what I'll be doing.
I love the feel of flipping through a series of photos using my hands... Sort of like an actual book not an electronic book. But it is becoming harder and harder to get film developed.
I have my iPad and camera with me all the time, and seem to be reaching more and more for my iPad to take pictures over my camera phone because with the iPad, it is just so much faster to take pictures. With my phone it can take up to five seconds to take another picture depending on the lighting and whatnot.
My digital camera I still take with me, just it was expensive so I take that out only when I would have no fear of dropping it or hurting myself.

Full feature, but compact camera.

If I go traveling and actually want to take pictures (which isn't usually the case), I take my compact digital camera. If I see something really cool and was not expecting it, though, I will use my phone.

Cell phone cameras are just so convenient, even if the quality isn't the best.

A full feature compact camera. My phone sucks for pics!

A basic digital camera.

I use my Canon Powershot SX500 IS. I do not like photos that are cell phone or really bad quality. I guess the Canon Powershot would be considered compact. It's a bit bigger than most "compact" cameras.

My husband's the one taking photos, and he uses a full feature digital camera plus whatever additional lenses he fancies.

I have a 30X zoom bridge camera, a Fujifilm HS30EXR that I got a month or two ago. I really love it. So far, I just use my iPhone (4) for toy photos because I'm always rushing to take them in private while I can, in my busy household.

I sometimes will bring my digital camera. Then I have my cell phone camera as well. My digital I like because I can get in a little closer then on a iPhone.

it just depends on the quality of pictures we want to take as to what we take with us.

It depends on how important the event is to me. For something small, I use my phone. It takes pretty good pictures, but my camera is still superior.

For day trips I often just use my phone, but for long trips I take a camera everywhere.

Lately, I've just been using my phone. I have a decent point 'n' click camera, but I mostly use it to take pics for Eden reviews.

Cell phone!! It is something you always have on you

My cell phone, and I usually have my pocket size point and shoot with me.

I use a full feature, but compact camera

Id really like to have an actual digital camera.

I just use my cell phone now. I have a digital camera, but the last time I moved it got messed up, and now I'm disappointed in the pictures it takes. It was just a cheap camera, but it took AMAZING quality pictures. It got dust on the lense, and there isn't any way to get to it to get the dust off.

Just my cell phone. It takes nice enough pics =)

Depending on the event/where I am/if I really care about the quality of the photo or not, I'll use either my cell phone camera or my point-n-shoot camera. However, I do like using film, so I try and take that camera along with me too... I probably look silly carrying around two cameras, but hey, it's the price you pay for good photography! XD

When I got my smartphone, my digital camera sadly became abandoned.

At the moment our cellphone cameras take better quality photos than our digital cameras.
