I can tell pretty quick if a toy is right for me, so I'd say only 1-2 times.

it took awhile for me to get used to the fairy because the head was so much bigger than bullets but now it's my fave

Usually in one to two times I will know but if I don't like it I will try it a couple more times to be sure.

3-4 the only exception to that rule was The Fetish Fantasies Elite 4.5" regular sized dildo. That one worked out so well first time through I wrote about it the following day. It still makes shower time more fun since.

I would say 3-4 times before we really get a feel for something. Although you have an inkling of how things will go the first time or two as well.

It takes us a while to get a feel for a toy. I do not like trying out a toy once and then shoving it away in a drawer. It actually upsets me. We try to find every way possiable to enjoy the toy, if we can. After a 3rd or fourth failed atempt. It gets put away.

With some toys you know right away, but with others you learn more with each use. Three times is usually enough to get a well-rounded impression.
