If I'm interested in the topic, I'll usually do the homework right away. If I don't like a subject as much, the homework gets pushed to the back burner. It's bad and makes unfavorable subjects pile up.
How are/were you with homework?

When I could get away with it I didn't do it, but otherwise - on time)

I tend to delay homework until the last minute, suffer greatly while doing it, and get a good grade. So, meh, it works.

I tend to try and read ahead whenever possible. Working and going to school and having a son don't always guarantee that I can get things done quickly so I do it while I can.
My sister is taking him overnight tonight. I'll be spending my weekend with 225 pages of Bruno Latour and and unknown number of Michel Foucault.

first three years of high school i was ok with home work tending to put things off for the most part but by the forth year i had grown tired of lugging 20kg plus of crap around (no computers back then) ,too much home work imo 6hrs at school then another 4 to 5 hrs homework F*&K that it was getting repetitive so i locked all text books in locker and left school when i was 17 and went to work.
Thinking of going back to study in 2 or 3 years now that i am more mature and kids get a bit older. The good thing is i would have never met my wife of 15 years if i had stayed in school.

I have so much work right now that if I didn't stay on top of my work I would never get caught up again.

I have always done the core work or the majority of all my homework as soon as it was assigned as it was all fresh in my head. Then spent the time before the due date fine tuning and perfecting it.
Even now, I find I am the same way as a teacher. By mid terms, my students will have just over 70% of their final grade already in my computer. All major assignments and projects and big lectures are done during the first two months of the term... and all my lesson planning was done before Christmas for the Spring term. Now all I have to do is tweak them to make them more suitable for each class now that I know my students.

I was a major procrastinator. I would read the book and write the report all the night before it was due. I left those research papers that you were supposed to work on all quarter till the weekend before the due date. I think I actually work better that way, though.
At some point around my junior or senior year I pretty much just quit doing math homework, I was just over it and had SO much from other classes.

I'd do my homework and reading right away. With big reports it would take me a little bit to get around to it, but I'd always hand it in when it was due.

For me, it was pretty 50/50. There were some things I could manage to get done right away, and there were some nights I finished my huge presentation with enough time to change, load it in the car, and drive to school.

I was a terrible student!

It was about 50/50 for me. Some of it was fast for me and other time It took me a while to complete.

I used to do my homework for one class in the next class so I didnt have to do it when I got home. (Usually a quick crappy job)

When I was in school I tried to get it done during lunch and study hall I worked right after school let out and normally didn't get home till 11pm or later but what I didn't finish I finished when I got home. I worked doubles on the weekends so I had no time to catch up if I didn't do it

It really depended on the subject, math was always at the bottom of the to do list.
I was unbeatable in history, foreign language, and english though. >=3

I get some done instantly, but I have to force myself to do other work. Sometimes I will even factor in what a 0% on something would do to my grade. I'm a 4.0 gpa student though, so it's just fantasy!

In high school, if I did my homework at all it was usually the night before it was due. High school was boring to me and didn't provide a challenge, so I enjoyed doing homework for other people, since I got paid To me, money in exchange for the work was much more valuable than some letter on my paper, but once I was in college I tended to do all of my homework, though usually I'd still do it the night before or the few minutes before class started. Luckily, this never affected my grades in college because the professors were none the wiser.

Things have to be started the minute I know about it.

IF I did it, it was days after it was due

I can be pretty bad about procrastinating, but I also tend to be a slow worker when I get to it. I'm really meticulous and picky, so even when I'm not procrastinating, I always take ages longer with assignments than it seems like it takes most other people.
