I only talk to my successful high school friends on a rare basis. The majority of my high school friends have trodden down "the wrong path" in my opinion by making very poor life choices during and after high school. I loved them and thought they were fabulous people, but I feel that they all could have done so much better for themselves and don't want their issues in my life.
HighSchool Friends

Nope - I'm more than happy to leave that stage of my life behind.
But then, I'm not a real sociable person.

This. I live with a friend from high school and one of my closest guy friends I met in HS. My best friend actually dates back to middle school.

I have a select few that I still talk to on occasion.
We've all moved around so much, it makes it difficult to keep in constant contact.
Imagine a time before the internet. Eeek!

I dont talk to them,I dont have a fb or myspace so yeah.
04/12/2011
Thanks to FB I've gotten in touch with a lot of them..

I had a few friends in high school. Strange enough, I've gotten back in touch with most of the people I wasn't that close to and the people I was really close to have drifted off.
Facebook is great because you don't have to waste time going to a reunion if you could just get a hold of them there. Yet another way technology is changing the future...for the better in this case!

There's a few people that I never spoke with in high school that I talk to all the time now. My "friends" from high school are not really good friends anymore. Once I left my hometown, I discovered better friends.
12/12/2011
I don't talk to them.

There are one or two that I've exchanged pleasantries with since, but really I haven't kept up at all. I'm not exactly broken up about it.

I'm 33 and I only occasionally run into a high school friend or classmate. I'll quickly chit chat or say hi, but that's about it. I have one friend from high school that I remained friends with afterward, but she was always a lousy friend... I'd rather hang out with an enemy than her. When I run into her, she usually insists that I call her to hang out, but of course I never do, nor will I ever.

In a few months, my HS graduation will be thirty five years ago.
I've had a few FB conversations over the last few years. One guy remembered that I had an alligator as a pet back in the first or second grade, the dope asked if I still had it. My first HS GF inquired if I were single, I'm not and she never replied back after I said so.
Being low income back during MS and HS time, I was NOT one of the popular kids. I was ignored and at best invisible, at worst had to fight some jock who was picking on me. I'm not interested in conversation and certainly NOT any reunion.
So you know what... Fuck Em!

Depends on the level of friendship. I see some of my high school "friends" on a daily basis, while the ones I was the closest to live far away now, so I don't see them very often.

I talk to them rarely. But with fb I feel i know what all is going on.

I've never really had close friends at school. I never really found anyone worth my time. There are two people that went to my high school that I didn't know there that I am friends with now though. So, I said "other"

I'm 26 and I do talk to some of my closest high school friends often.

Only a few of them. I lost quite a few of my hs friends when I split with my hs boyfriend about 3 years into college. The good ones I've kept. One friend and catch up about once every 6 months and it's like we've never been apart. Love that

I am 22 and only talk to my best friend from HS.

I married my High School best friend....we graduated side by side in 1988 and we are still side by side! So yes I do communicate with him but the others have kinda fallen to the way side. I occasionally exchange emails with a few but nothing major.

Nope I don't talk to any HS friends. Occasionally I do.

I'm good friends with a few of them still

I have one best friend from high school that I talk to, but she is it. I don't care to talk to anyone else. The people I knew in school were lousy friends.

rarely, but FB has put us back in touch

My best friend from high school roared back into my life last night after ten years of lost communication (my ex-husband isolated me from everyone and she was going through cancer), and we picked up where we left off without missing a beat.
Although there is a certain sadness while we talked of discovering that our mutual friends have still not really grown up and remain either flaky or melodramatic or have "sold out". We both feel we were the only ones who remained "Real" after all this time.
I think, in my mid-thirties, I'm discovering who my true friends are from back in the day and the others were friends simply because we were forced into the public school system prison and had to associate with each other for survival.
