Same here but the fun part is that it has been off due to to an aggravating electrical issue.

Living in Florida it almost never gets shut off in the first place. It's just too damn hot.
A few days a ago it wouldn't turn off, house just keep get colder and colder. A family friend came by and installed a new thermometer and still not fixed...so he called in some AC experts and long story short a lizard got in to the electrical wiring outside circuited it and that was what was causing it to be stuck on. i now hate lizards.

It's been broiling hot here for several months, so I have it on. I'm exceedingly cranky when hot, and I can't deal with 80-90 degree temperatures.

It's been hot this year.

Definitely. It's going to be really hot the next couple of days so I hope it holds out.

We don't even have AC. No need for it here in the northwest.

I think we turned in on once in March (we had a heat wave.) Then the heat went back on. Then we started using the AC again in June.
I have a thermometer from ThinkGeek that attaches to a window. It records the highest and lowest temperature for that 24 hour period and the ambient temperature at the moment. Yesterday, in the Chicago suburbs, the highest temperature recorded on my thermometer was ..... 113.5 degrees. Even giving it a 5% error rate, that's fucking HOT!
My poor Malamute. He went outside early in the day, and then just laid around, panting, drinking water, lying on the marble in our front hall (it is very cool there) and drooling in front of the fan. Poor baby. He's happier today. It's only in the 80s.
