Have you ever tried laser hair removal?

It would be nice if it was inexpensive and worked to help the bikini area.

OK, I am officially done with my treatments. For the most part, I am pleased. I have probably 1/2 to 3/4 less hair than I did before and all that is left are the clear or blond hairs and the red ones. The laser can not see red or blond, so it passes directly through those hairs instead of penetrating them.

I can go about 6 weeks before I feel the need to shave; however, I only have to swipe the razor over the area 3 or 4 times now on each pit. That in and of itself reduces the razorburn and risk of injury greatly. Never been happier about shaving my pits!

Sounds like what my wife experienced. Now that the Brazilian is over she's going to do her pits. The rest of her hair (like her legs) is blond - so it wouldn't help.

Thanks for the info.

I've been tattooed, pierced, waxed, all that painful stuff and laser treatment still scares me haha.

I have blond body hair, with strawberry-blond bikini, pits, and legs, so laser wouldn't work. I'd prefer electrolysis ... I'd rather have the time taken to make sure it's done right. And, really, the thought of an electric needle being slipped into my hair shaft doesn't bother me as much as a laser snapping at my skin.

I have not tried laser hair removal but am curious about it.

I am positive that some of the claims about effectiveness/permanen ce are overstated, and the people who I've known who have had laser removal have been satisfied with it (but admitted that it didn't totally clear things out). Elecrolysis is supposedly much more effective (but also significantly more expensive).

If it weren't so costly I would definitely get it to reduce the amount of shaving I do, but as is I'll probably hold off until I'm making more money or there's a really good deal somewhere.

The expense and time involved are a negative for me. I just shave and really, my pubes are used to it!

My wife had laser hair removal on her vagina and she's extremely happy with the results.
