Yes, generally before events. I don't care for them because I don't like people touching my nails.

I would love to get my nails done more often! I usually can't afford it. I love how it looks though! So much better than anything I can do myself. Haha.

I'm reeeeeeally hard on my nails too, riding horses and working in ceramics, so it kind of feels like it'd be a waste of money most of the time.

Yes, I've had several manicures in my life. They are a waste of time and money in my opinion.

I've had both. I definitely enjoy the feeling of being pampered, but it really IS expensive! Since I don't have any fingernails to speak of (because they break and remain very short), I don't have much need for manicures, but if I could afford regular pedicures, I would TOTALLY have them all the time! Since I can't, I usually just do a mini-pedicure in the shower, and finish when I get out.
