Not so far, and I don't have any intention to go.
Have you ever gone hunting?

No. I'm fine eating meat but have absolutely no desire to go and kill something myself.

No. I'm a steadfast First World person. I'll let things like meat procurement be done by someone else.
I don't pump out my own septic tank either. Some things, to me, are worth letting someone else do.
I was also a vegetarian for many years, (I'm an omnivore now, with the exception of dairy) and I just couldn't hunt, although I'm a damn good shot! My father taught me to shoot for sport (he never hunted anything alive) when I was a kid.

I haven't and can't imagine I ever could.

I just wanted to add that there are medical risks to hunting and fishing.
I eat some meat and I'm happy to let USDA and FDA farmers and butchers take care of it. I don't pump out my own septic tank either. Some things, to me, are worth letting someone else do.
I'm also vitally aware of the problems with parasite and prion contamination in wild caught meat. Believe me, it's a problem. Not only did I see it working as a nurse, but my husband's family has suffered from it (and my step father DIED from Mad Cow disease, probably either from meat from overseas or from wild hunted meat, I wouldn't wish Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease on anyone, after watching my step-father die from it, Brutal and painful way to die. The poor man's brain liquified and collapsed into his spinal column while he was fully conscious. Horrible disease.)
Parasites and mercury poisoning, the mercury (and some parasites) from wild caught lake and stream caught fish are also horrible things. Three of my husband's relatives nearly died from mercury poisoning from eating fish from "Pristine" lakes in Northern Wisconsin, where they live.
They got very sick and didn't know why. In fact, every member of their families got sick. Finally, one of the cousins broke down and went to a doctor and the mercury was discovered. All members of all three of their families were poisoned. They had to have their blood chelated, which is painful. And, the most severely effected will have brain and liver and kidney problems for the rest of their lives.
No thank you.

Nope, most likely never will go hunting either. I don't mind eating meat and knowing about other people hunting but I just can't do it, I love animals too much to want to kill any.
10/04/2012
no.
10/04/2012
Yup, every fall for the last ten years. Son and daughter have taken it up as well.

I fish and go deer, elk and antelope hunting. Hunting helps to maintain a healthy population and can decrease diseases, deformities and inbreeding of each animal species. Where we live I do the damage hunts--special hunts for areas of animals that are ruining a farmer's crops, causing too many car/deer accidents and severe overpopulation.
If you lived in an area that you actually see the deformities, diseases, and cruelty of animals starving due to lack of food--you might be able to do your part at prevention. It ensures the life of other deer and elk.

I grew up in a hunting/fishing family. I went a few times, but it never really caught on with me. The only season I really enjoyed was squirrel, but I didn't care much to eat them.
Fishing is just too boring for me.

I've only gone fishing and crabbing.
12/09/2012
no, but i'd like to. i don't think anyone in my family hunts anymore, though, so i don't really know where to start.
12/09/2012
I haven't been, I would like to go.
12/09/2012
Nope
12/09/2012
No. I never had the desire to.
12/09/2012
Growing up in the south, I had a lot of friends who hunted, but I never have.
12/09/2012
No and I never will. I can't kill animals.
12/09/2012
I wish I was confident in my ability to, 'cause I think I would. The animals in the woods are far happier than most animals in the grocery stores.
12/09/2012
Never have, never will
12/09/2012
I didn't go hunting, but I was hunted once. It was crazy.
12/09/2012
Deer
12/09/2012
Never have, don't have anything against it if you're going to actually take it home and eat it, but it's just not my thing.
12/09/2012
I don't have a problem with hunting, I'm just not that into stuff like that.
12/09/2012
Deer every year, Elk when we draw a license.
12/09/2012
I don't care for hunting.
