I can admit it yes I have gone a day or two without showering but I wasn't feeling well so I lounged around my place in jammies and just wasnt up for a shower. Okay I fessed up so be honest its a private poll.
Have you ever gone a day without taking a shower? what about 2 days? Longer?

Occasionally I'll go a day without taking a shower, though usually only if I somehow forget to or have literally no time to do so, since my hair gets really oily if I don't shower everyday. I think the longest I've ever gone was the week or so in my preteen-hood when the tub was being replaced (I had to wash my hair in the sink), unless you count my young childhood when I took baths instead.

My family used to go camping a lot. Like every weekend. Showering daily isn't really an option.

Very rarely do I go a day without a shower. Today is one of the rare days. But I didn't go anywhere yesterday after I got one and I didn't go anywhere today nor did I sleep much at all because the phone has been ringing off the hook all dang morning with the hospitals and doctor about my foot surgery in the morning &no one knowing wtf they are doing. I'm too tired to move and get one and it's 10:30pm so no sense.
But I will NOT leave the house without a shower. I feel so disgusting, my hair feels greasy and I just feel nasty. The only times I have left and gone in public without a shower was on vacations when we would get up and go straight to the beach &I'd jump in the ocean and get wet or to my cousins pool (but I had a shower the night before so I wasn't like, skanky gross lol)so I didn't feel like a hot mess anymore!

I only shower every other day, normally. I don't work out and I don't have a dirty job, so I don't see a reason to use that much water every day.
My hair will get greasy the day after that, but if it wasn't for that, I probably would let it go longer - it takes longer than a day or two for me to even start to be "dirty".

It's not something I do regularly, only when I "need" to. A few days after my son was born and my milk started coming in, my boobs became ridiculously huge practically overnight (I'd put Pam Anderson to shame). In an effort to keep constant pressure on them I wore FOUR sports bras at once (in too small a size), and there was NO WAY IN HELL I was going to take them off and have water beating on them.

You're lucky, I can do NOTHING after getting a shower and when I wake up the next day my hair looks greasy.

No showers when you're camping in the bush.

When we go camping, I go several days without a shower. I try not to go more then 2 days without a shower if I can help it. There was a time when I was younger that I had to go a week without a shower because I was on a church trip to Baja mexico.

Yeah, like the previous posts, when camping and surviving the elements, kind of hard to shower. I think the most I've gone is 3 or maybe 4 days. Not really proud of it, but what can you do?!

I, also, only wash my hair every few days or once a week. I have ultra thick, very long hair and it takes forever to wash. I don't use hair products, I don't sweat a lot, and I wear my hair back 99% of the time, so I just don't need to wash it all that much. It doesn't get super oily, even after a week of not washing.
My skin gets very dry after showering, as well. I don't like using lotion because they make my skin feel weird. So... I just cut back on showers.
In addition, I also have psoriasis that flakes really bad after a shower. After a day or so, it seems to calm down when my skin returns to "normal".

So sorry!

In middle school I often went up to a week without showering. Now I always shower every day.
04/11/2012
In middle school I would go about three days without showering, or on camping trips. But now I rarely camp, and I work out a lot, so I shower almost every day.

I don't shower everyday. My skin is to dry and it's bad for your hair!
04/12/2012
As a young man I could not go more than a day - but since I've aged and have a home office, I can get by on days that I don't workout.
04/12/2012
Its called camping. you don;t notice how smelly you are until the day after you get back and have showered the previous night. and then you walk past the laundry hamper. OOOOOWWEE it is ripe.
04/12/2012
I usually do every day, but occasionally I'll skip a day.
04/12/2012
I went through a really bad depressive stage, once, where I hadn't showered in several weeks. My mom dragged me to the shower and forced me to bathe.
It was a bad time.
It was a bad time.

I've gone days without showering due to camping. But when I'm not camping, I like to get at least 2 showers a day. One in the morning and one after work.

I've not skipped showering in years except for when we had a tornado and the water was contaminated (I broke down after the second day and dipped right into that cold, contaminated water!) and when I was extremely sick I skipped a day. By the second day, I make sure I shower. I don't skip unless I've no choice. As a teen, I'd have to skip a day or so when we'd spend the night with a friend. For some reason she wasn't "allowed" to use the shower when friends were over so we would hang our heads in the sink and wash our hair then head to my house where showers were allowed. Other than skipping when at a friends house or something as a kid, I hardly ever skip.

I normally shower once every other day.
04/12/2012
There's been a few times in my life that I went without a shower for a day. Once when I went camping, and the other times were when I was really sick. I normally will not skip my showers, I HAVE to shower every night or else I can't sleep comfortably.
04/12/2012
I usually shower on a daily basis, but there's one week a year where showering isn't actually mandatory - Roskilde Festival. I go home every third day or so to shower though since I live so close to it in comparison to others, and, my glob, does a shower feel good after three days, haha.
04/12/2012
I like to take long camping trips. Nuff said.
04/12/2012
I shower everyday It's just part of my daily routine.
04/12/2012
In my younger days I was occasionally away from bathing capabilities due to floods/natural disasters and the like. I didn't like it, as I smelled like a goat rolled in manure, but I did what I had to do. Nowadays, my showers come second to only sleep as far as my "creature comforts" go.
04/12/2012
Yes I tend to do from time to time.
