I'm a vegetarian. If I went hunting I'd probably spend the whole time trying to scare animals away and crying.

I grew up with hunting and love to go. I've gone hunting for everything in fields out behind the house. My favorite though is deer hunting, and it's only 43 days until Michigan's unofficial state holiday of deer season. I started shooting when I was about 6 or 7.

It may sound prudish, but I really don't like the idea of killing. I understand that God put animals here for us and for us to eat, but I don't need to kill my own animal for food. I do eat hamburgers and ain't even a vegetarian, but I can't kill an animal. As for killing animals for the fun so called "sport" of it only, and leaving them there dead -- I see it as mean and pretty cruel. If you're only killing to shoot something and watch it die, that's not very nice. At least eat it.
