During my induction with my son, he went into distress, and it was an emergancy csection.. he was coming out by his ear and his cord was around his neck.. If the nurse would've made me push him out he would've been stillborn.
Have you ever been in a life-threatening situation?

Luckily he took the 66$ in my drawer and peaced out. At first he didn't believe that was all I had so I took the drawer out of the register, threw it on the counter and asked if he wanted me to bag the change for him.
Luckily, my city PD caught him within the hour. I could have not functioned normally if they hadn't caught him.
I have never been so close to shitting my pants than when that dude pulled out that gun and I realized "THIS DUDE IS FREAKING SERIOUS FOR REALLY FOR REALS". less

my ex's family has a Chinese place that would get robbed all the time bad area/open late... he worked late in the building next door and for some reason his new car he bought the week before would not start so he went to his moms place to eat and wait for someone to come and fix his car (it was 11PM) and long story made short he had a man come up from behind and pulled out a knife and held him "hostage" his mum who was behind the bar just lost it forgot how to speak English basically and did all the wrong things wouldn't give the guy the money instead picked up the phone and dialing 911 still not speaking English... thankfully the guy robbing the place picked the wrong guy to mess with.. he got the crap beat out of him when my ex grabbed a bar stool. the guy ran off but the cops found him before the end of the night. my ex was never the same after that became very paranoid of everything was once a very out going guy who ran a teen center who then became violent himself. we are no longer together but thankfully he is now living in a different state and has found peace with himself and helping youth again

Um... I had complete placenta previa my whole pregnancy and if I would have gone into labor I would have hemorrhaged to death before the ambulance would have gotten to me. But since I didn't go into labor... I guess that doesn't count.
I was in the middle of a spring one time, I think it was like 100 feet to the bottom and you could see straight down. I was floating on a noodle, and usually I'm a great swimmer, but when I looked down I panicked. I tried to stay afloat on the noodle, but it didn't want to hold me. My big brother and his gf could have swam in and got me, but they indicated that I was being annoying and that they were smoking so they couldn't swim. My lil brother wound up saving me from drowning.
Nothing really bad, but some things I hold onto.

Sad thing is... I could go on. less

Almost drowned in a pool, got trapped under a raft in rapids, almost got hit by a car going the wrong way on the highway...
Apparently I lead an adventurous life.

Several times, mostly involving motor vehicles (I think you're wise not to want a car).
A clueless jerk in an SUV, who was yakking on his #%@!ing cell phone almost hit me on my motorcycle. I avoided getting hit, but trashed the bike and broke my right elbow, right before finals (I was in my 4th year of college). Sorry to the good SUV drivers out there, but I still have a pathological hatred for the things, to this day!
I slipped on some ice while hiking solo in the Rockies and nearly fell several hundred feet to a certain death. I managed to find a handhold on the slippery rocks, then a foothold, and finally to pull myself back up.
A guy tried to rob me with a knife once, but I was majorly drunk and managed to scare him off. I didn't even think of it as life-threatening until a few days later when I read about someone getting killed in my town in a similar situation.
In addition to those, I've been in a couple of car crashes that could have been much worse, but I didn't get seriously hurt. I've also had several "almost" car crashes, a couple of which could have been deadly. And I came fairly close to drowning while learning to kayak, but fortunately, I was rescued right about the time panic started to set in.
Geez, I'm lucky to be here!

I was in the heart of a EF-5 tornado, wiped out everything around me excluding the bathtub me and some family members were in/beside. Went of the road in a Dodge, [this] close to a phone poll, just hit the ceiling (ALWAYS wear a seat belt!) and was sore for a couple weeks. I don't know anyone who hasn't been through a almost-life-ending situation actually.

Not yet. Which I am glad about.

Yep, living with my dad. He's an insane, dangerous malignant narcissist who threatened me on the daily.

yes

Not really. I crashed an ATV once but aside from some nerve damage in my knee and cuts/bruises/sprains, I was fine.
