I put 6 here yesterday. Today I remembered I've also been to Turkey, so I should have out 7.
Ever been ABROAD?

I've been to Canada, Korea, and the Netherlands. Canada doesn't really count though since it's only a drive away, but I counted it as three since they are their own country. ;p

I've never been out of the country, but I want to so bad. I was supposed to go the France my senior year in high school, but got pregnant and had to miss the trip. It was upsetting, but I don't regret my baby girl. One day I will go there though. There are so many places I want to see. The Carribean, Mexico, Australia, France, Italy, Ireland... I could go on. One day I'll travel the world... one day...

Besides for Cancun, I've only been to the hell wholes of this plannet. It would be fine with me if I never left American soil again.

My family has a huge wall map up in my old room so my little neice and nephew can see where their Aunt has been in the world and which clothes and outfits go with which country.
I've been to lots of Asia, most of North America (will be doing Dominican Republic this summer) and some of South America.

I had the opportunity to experience what it was like to be a resident alien (legal) in Germany. Then I went back to Germany with the US Army, very different experience. Many instances their ways were unexpectedly different.
Many Americans admire the European way of doing things... If they lived there long enough WOULD NOT. Some things yes, are better, but it is absolutely NOT the best overall. By experience I've learned that the USA although certainly not perfect, is a much better place to live for the average person.

I've never left the country.

Spent two weeks in Ireland, thinking about signing up to teach English in China or Russia.

I am assuming I voted "15" because I have been to over 15 foreign countries? The Mrs. and I travel quite a bit now that we are retired and at least 2 or 3 annual trips are out of the USA. One of my favorite places continues to be Hawaii--back in the good old USA!!! It has the advantage of being culturally diverse and different from the lower 48. I have heard the same is true of Alaska although we have not been there yet. Some friends of ours moved there about 10 years ago (Anchorage) and we keep promising to visit. Maybe this summer!!

I've been to four outside of the US right now. Canada, England, Scotland and Ireland. I'm heading to Israel in two weeks, though, and I can't wait!
02/16/2012
Only to Canada.
