But basically most of my family traces back to viking blood. Oh joy. Translation: I was so pale as a kid that I remember people would stare at me and Asian women always wanted to touch my skin. O.o

I'm a mix myself. I'm half South Korean, a quarter German and a quarter American, which in itself is either English or French. To most, I look fairly Asian, but I do have very noticeable Caucasian features, of which I was able to confuse some Asians, ha ha. Most people can't believe that I was actually born in Germany though.

I do have a smidge of Native American, but not enough where anyone could classify as such. Mostly German and Irish though (that I know of since my father was adopted and doesn't know his birth parents, but we're assuming he's a bit of Irish).

I had to look up ethnicity because I wasn't sure what separated it from race which is what I'm used to answering. Thank you Wikipedia for telling me that ethnicity is: "...a group of people whose members identify with each other through a common heritage, consisting of a common culture, including a shared language or dialect. The group's ethos or ideology may also stress common ancestry, religion, or race." As an American I'm not sure I'd even claim to have much of an identifiable ethnicity; though the language I speak is English with a Midwestern dialect, I don't think I would claim a common ethos, ideology, or religion which many of the people in my community.

Hispanic and Middle Eastern, specifically Mexican, Spanish, and Saudi Arabian, but 100% Texan.

Hispanic for me!

Polish and Czech mix.

My ancestors were mostly from Europe, but not all were "white." My mother's side of the family are Celtic, and are obviously "white." My dad's side of the family are Mediterranean and when they came through Ellis Island they were marked as "not white."
So, I guess I'm half Olive brown and half fish belly white. I'm one who honestly admits I have no Native American blood in me. Just Europe, and probably some North African way back, at least from what our people looked like and how close to the tip of Italy they were. Oddly with this mix, a lot of people think I'm Latina. People speak to me in Spanish all the time, thinking I'm Latina, but my Spanish is awful, so I can't say much except that my Spanish is muy malo.
