My ex-husband claimed all the RPG source books for the divorce - except the lousy 'Vampire: the Masquerade' first editions. I can't even sell them because nobody wants them.
At least he'll leave Bob Heinlein alone as long as I let him have S.M. Sterling. We may have to fight over Douglas Adams and Spider Robinson, though.

Oh goodness, I don't even know where to begin.
As for the weeaboo in me--I've been into Japanese pop culture for over a decade (anime, manga, Japanese video games, music.). I'm into Japanese fashion both modern and traditional--I've been leaning kimono dressing for a while. And I cosplay, too. Making costumes eats up a lot of my time and money. We go to a few anime conventions a year. I can read, speak and write a bit of Japanese. There are worlds in there that even a lot of otaku in the west don't know about. Not being an elitist there (though I am one), but there is a lot of depth that doesn't wash up on to our shores heavily. I'm in pretty deep, it isolates me.
Other than all that, I have been a lifelong reader of fantasy but not usually fantasy novels--I was obsessed with certain kinds of mythology growing up and still am on and off. I tend to read some dry stuff in that area and others, whatever suits my passion at the time.
I helped make my computer?
I try really hard because of some of the more public things I do, but I can't completely fix the dork part of me that makes me socially clumsy.

I don't remember, but I do have most of the clan books (Tsmieze?, Toreador, Grangrel, Nosferatu, etc), plus the Book of Nod and a more indepth source book for ... oh, damn, the clan that had the Serpentis. I got them from one of the other players. Unfortunately do not have the Malkavian (the player kept that one). This was before all that reset stuff that White Wolf did.

I'm an otaku and a total book slut. If a friend is getting rid of books I am all about taking them off their hands. I am no longer allowed near the used book sales the library has because I often lugged home 20+ pounds of books. Best day of my life was when someone's mother dropped off all their manga at the library and I found it before they got picked through. I got all of it, over 20 books for $5. BEST BOOK FIND EVER! When I got home my mother wanted to kill me, but I was so pleased with my find that I just hid in my room reading till she got over it. This was like 10 years ago, but still awesome.
I'm also a cooking nerd, so I love to see people look confused in the grocery store and help them out.

Of course we all know that most Japanese are pretty thin (there is a lot of pressure there, and many of their traditional foods are pretty light.). I'm not sure about your size, but many kimono will fit a range of people, especially newer ones as the Japanese population is getting a little wider and much taller. Have you ever been to the Immortal Geisha forums? There is a wide variety of sizes and shapes in the community. That place might help you find what you should look for.
And no, I won't really "fix" my dorky side. I can't and I wouldn't want to. Even if it makes some socializing difficult or awkward.

Oh lordy, where to begin I'm a gamer in every variation of the word. I play D&D and many other RPGs, even the Supernatural RPG, lol. I prefer the Dark Ages White Wolf stuff, even if there isn't a ton of it. One of these days I'll have to get a pic of my dice collection. It's amazing I love console games. I'm a die hard playstation fangirl. I know the world revolves around Xbox and I'm in the minority. I play MMORPGs, but not as much anymore. I WOW on both sides, which a lot of people on WOW think is wishywashy. I only play Pallys and DKs I even play old out of print board like games of my dad's. None of you have probably ever heard of Heroquest but a new edition of Talisman did come out, so maybe some people would know that. Even if the older one was epic. I have been to GenCon Indy and Wizard World.
Comics, I love them. I don't have a very big collection of them (I have an online Marvel Digital Comics subscription I grew up on the cartoon series' based on them, lol. And Captain America is my ideal man I'm not so much into manga but I have a friend whose interests are rubbing off on me. I find myself being reluctantly dragged into the manga/anime world. I've been to a Michigan ComicCon every year since I can remember.
I'm bigger on Star Wars than Star Trek, but I love them both. I've always loved Han Solo (who doesn't?) and I was outraged when they went back and edited Hayden Christiansen over ghost!Anikan. Outraged. I have the autograph of the guy that was inside R2D2. Yes, there was a guy in there. At least part of the time. From Trek, the only series I didn't care for was DS9. I actually liked Enterprise, which again puts me in the minority. I love Spock so hard, Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto. I love ZQ from Heroes, too. Dr. McCoy always made me LOL.
Renaissance festivals, OMW. I grew up with my mom owning a booth at the Michigan RenFest so I was totally submerged in that. I love the costumes, I love the fantasy. It's because of this that I want to get into D&D LARPing but I don't think that's gonna happen. I'm moving and I won't have anyone to try it out with, lol.
Would it be bad to admit that I'm huge into Harry Potter...? I can't help that I was a kid when the books came out I'm the kind of fan that gets mad when the movies are wrong and I'm even mad at JK Rowling for driving that seventh book right into the ground. And I don't like Ginny, lol I'm so not into Twilight. Sure I read the books and saw the movies, but it's my mom and brother that are the fans. I think those books would be about a billion times better without Bella...
And what, no band geek category? Because I belong there, too. I was MVP of my high school marching band, lol. That's right, I've been to band camp. And American Pie has it wrong.
Oh god, on paper I'm a total cliche...

And I know the widest made traditional kimono is about a size 10 in American women's sizes. (They're average kimonos fit roughly size 0-6. I've researched it quite a bit.) But plus-size doesn't start until 14-16. So I'd have to find a kimono maker that'd be willing to do a custom piece, which would be hella expensive. But if I do win the lottery, you better believe I'm doing it.
But I'm gonna go check out that forum though!!!

Oh wow, I need to look that preview up I'm so excited for the movie, even if I'm skeptical of Chris Evans as Cap.

I like computers, but I'm not great with them. I also play some games, but I am not obsessed with them. If you could call it dorky, I like model trains a lot. Have since I got my first set when I was about 3 years old.
