Mine are separate, but I try not to use so much conditioner because it can weaken the hair.

Prevents split ends and breakage. Actually puts some moisture back on the scalp too.

I got into the habit when my hair was longer and I was dyeing it on a fairly regular basis and still use separate shampoos and conditioners.
12/20/2011
I use it, but not every day.

I always use separate conditioner. I have long curly hair, and if I didn't it would be a nightmare. I use the rinse out kind of conditioner, and also a leave in treatment.

I have to use conditioner. I just it all over my body to get closer shave.

I've always used a separate conditioner. I just use it on the tips of my hair though. My hair is pretty soft already, so that's the only place that needs it.

I have oily hair, so I only condition the ends every once in a while.
12/20/2011
I used to, years ago, but it doesn't do my hair any good.

My hair will not tolerate 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner combos. I've tried them and been left with unmanageable hair. I use a separate conditioner on my head hair and a cheaper conditioner to shave my legs and down below bits.

I always condition my hair! Not always shampoo, though.

My hair is so short that I haven't needed to use conditioner in a long time

i do.. whenever i wash my hair!

That's how I do it too! My curls loathe 2-in-1s.

Usually I use both shampoo and condition (separately) in my head hair. Can't do two-in-ones as my hair requires only a dab of shampoo and like two handfuls of conditioner (long, thick, fairly course, curly).
Sometimes I'll just use conditioner though. Because of my hair type, it truly can take over a week to get mildly oily and in "need" of cleaning. That said, although it doesn't get dirty quickly, it gets unmanageably frizzy anywhere from one to three days depending on the weather and it's mood. Because of that, most of the time when I wash my hair, it's less to clean it and more just to restyle it. Sometimes in the restyling case, I'll just condition it to help smooth it out and whatever. I tend to go through bottles of conditioner 2-3 times faster than shampoo lol.

I once dumped a guy in a really sad situation. I had just re-watched "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and decided to bleach my hair white TWICE to get it REALLY WHITE (it is naturally medium blonde but I had henna'd it so much it was impossible to strip ALL the red out, and I'd also had the henna lifted professionally then did the whole Xtina look from the "Dirty" era--black and platinum)...then dyed it shiny eggplant. Then that ran and was a bitch so I BLEACHED it AGAIN and it got gummy and weird. I ended up with platinum hair with cotton candy pink streaks and black underlining. It looked hot but the upkeep sucked.
ANYWAY!! my hair was super super super fried so I had to use special conditioner. I still condition the ever-loving-hell out of my hair. I don't wash anything but the scalp; I can't. I use conditioner to shave everywhere too. I also use conditioner if I am growing out a little landing strip or some such pubic design. I like to be soft.
I have fine, thick, fairly straight, highly damaged hair that's down to the small of my back (and that's a long way down because I'm damned tall).
Sucks that my favourite conditioner comes in a tiny bottle! I love The Body Shop's banana stuff.

We use a two in one. I also use a separate conditioner, my hair is waist length and dyed so I need extra help.

I have to use conditioner. My hair is pretty long and tangles easy. I don't use it on my scalp I only use it on my ends. I tend to look greasy if I do. My fave shampoo and conditioner is Bed Heads Dumb Blonde..Its great for color treated hair.

it makes my hair greasy

I only used conditioner when my hair was longer and straight.
With super-short hair, I don't really need to.
When my hair was mid-length and curly, I would do it a bit in the beginning because the perm chemicals were harsh (although where I go, it's not as bad as it could be). But I would find it would be a little nicer looking if I didn't use conditioner.
It's funny, my partner requires TONS of conditioner, but even just a film of it on my hand will more than do the job for me.

I condition separately, and sometimes use conditioner one other hair.
12/20/2011
I use Neutrogena leave-in conditioner.
