That's what I do too. I only shampoo my hair about once a week, but I use conditioner on it 3 times a week. It's almost impossible for me to be able to run a brush through my hair if I try to wash it without using conditioner.

Usually I use both shampoo and condition (separately) in my head hair. Can't do two-in-ones as my hair requires only a dab of shampoo and like two handfuls of conditioner (long, thick, fairly course, curly).

Sometimes I'll just use conditioner though. Because of my hair type, it truly can take over a week to get mildly oily and in "need" of cleaning. That said, although it doesn't get dirty quickly, it gets unmanageably frizzy anywhere from one to three days depending on the weather and it's mood. Because of that, most of the time when I wash my hair, it's less to clean it and more just to restyle it. Sometimes in the restyling case, I'll just condition it to help smooth it out and whatever. I tend to go through bottles of conditioner 2-3 times faster than shampoo lol. less
