I always tan when I'm out in the sun and never burn. I rarely ever use sun block. My husband had sun block on today at the Beach and burned badly! Lol. Poor thing. How about you?
Do you tan or burn?

I tan mainly with sunblock. But if I'm outside for an extended period of time without reapplying, I will burn.

Sometimes I burn but then in the next few days it becomes a tan... or I just tan.

I burn even in the shade.

Usually I tan.. sometimes (rarely.. its like 1 per summer) I burn and thats the begining of the summer season that it happens.
Altho if my skin gets bad I will go to a tanning bed in mind to burn so it clears up

I burn badly, even with sunblock, even under an umbrella or tent for shade. I have very fair skin, and some of the meds I take increase my likelihood of burning. I have to be super careful!

I don't care about it at all.
05/28/2012
just let it burn

I burn!

I prefer being pale, so I'm not disappointed that I can't tan.

I tan! Sometimes I get minor burns in really strong sunlight, though.

Burnt like a son of a b****

I have olive skin and I tan. Unless I'm close to the equator, then I burn
05/29/2012
i burn once and tan every other time
05/29/2012
I burn a lot, but after a few days it fades into a nice tan. I burn every time I hit the beach though, unfortunately.
05/29/2012
I burn really bad unfortunately.

I burn, then tan. I've got a mix of olive and alabaster skin, so I burn easily, but it turns into a nice tan.
I prefer to stay pretty pale, or else I can start looking eastern Europeanish.

Oops, double post.

I am Irish/German, have the fair skin, freckles and red hair. If I am out in the sun even closer to the evening I will burn if I'm out there for just 5 minutes without sunscreen. I used to try and tan when I was younger, but gave up because it wasn't worth the risks associated with it.
So now, I'm vampire pale and happy with it

Within a day or two it usually transforms into a lovey golden tan. I'm quite lucky that despite burning, I rarely peel!
05/29/2012
I tan but I used to get a sun burn a little but not very often
05/29/2012
I burn!

I tan in a tanning bed, but burn in the sun.
05/29/2012
A little of both but more so tan than burn. I always wear sunscreen though sometimes not enough and I get slightly pink then it turns brown.
05/29/2012
I burn & I burn BAD. I avoid the sun at all costs! lol.
