I prefer the English units. Although I have to deal with both at work, I always end up converting the metric units into English. Just what I'm used to I guess.
Do you prefer metric or English units?

English units but if had to could get used to metric

I prefer the standard measurements since thats what I grew up with.

I prefer English units because I live in the US and that's what I'm used to.

English because i live in America, but it would be so much simpler if we were all on the metric system.

Metric weight when cooking and baking (it's more accurate), but since I was born and live in the US I'm comfortable with English units.

I wish we'd switched over to metric a long time ago, like we started to do years ago. Metric makes more sense.
Since I live in the US, I'm well used to English units, but I have relatives overseas, so I'm constantly needing to translate ("it's about 70, er, 20 degrees").

Second, converting metric units is so much easier than converting English units. As an engineering student, I hate doing problems in English units because they are automatically more work.

I really don't care.

I think metric units are better but I didn't grow up using them so they're not natural to me.

I use metric units at work but prefer English units for ambient temperature (weather) and for food recipes. 2.4 deciliters of sugar doesn't have the same ring as a 1 cup of sugar.

English units!

Metric confuses the crap out of me and yet it is a much simpler system.

Metric makes more sense when I sit down and think about it but I'm more familiar with English units, especially temperatures in Fahrenheit.

I use a little bit of both systems, depending on what I'm doing at the time.

I prefer English units. I know that metric is apparently easier to understand, in that it makes more sense, but for some reason no matter HOW many times I've been taught it in biology and chemistry classes, I can NEVER figure it out.
