I don't really notice my voice as nice or not but I find I sound like a douchebag when I laugh. When I sing I sound good to myself on the spot but I have recorded myself singing and I am actually quite horrible, lol.

So I guess I like my voice but certain vocalizations are not so nice.

It's not that I HATE it... but I wish it were a little deeper and more gravelly. I think a lower voice on a woman is so sexy. If only...

Well it happened again last night. I was mistaken for a 13 year old boy in an online game.... again. Being sick isn't helping with my voice, either. XD Not my fault I don't have a valley girl voice.... but I can do a DAMN good spot on impression if I wanted to, it scares people.

And your voice sounds diff when talking than when recorded because when talking you hear your own bones vibrating and all, so it makes it sound different.

Oh, good god, I hope it wasn't you playing against my friend's game night group ... don't know which game, but one of the guys kept accusing the online players of being 13-year-old boys and drunk 8-year-old girls. And that he was playing at Applebee's. *eyeroll*

I used to hate it, but I work for a company where phone calls are recorded and then listened to for evaluation. When I first started with the company I was taking phone calls, and so weekly I'd have to listen to myself for about 15-20 minutes. It helped get me used to my voice, and now I don't mind it as much.

It isn't that I cannot stand it, I just do not like it in its current form. It could be better. I like its sound, generally - it's a nice voice. But I would be pleased with it being a bit deeper.

I do not mind my voice when I hear myself speak. But, when I hear a recording of my voice I hate it; I think I either sound like a child or very annoying. Yet, no one else notices that; they just say I have an accent. So, I don't know.

It used to weird me out that my voice sounded so different when I heard a recording of it, or when I heard my voice amplified. But after a few years as a part-time radio and party DJ, I got used to hearing it that way.

I like the way that my voice sounds in my head, however I am not a fan of hearing it on recordings. I sound like I'm 5 years old.

My voice is one of my biggest sources of self-consciousness for me. I absolutely hate it, I can't stand seeing videos of myself because I'm just embarrassed, especially because I'm a talkative person. Jokes that sound funny when I say them sound humiliatingly dumb on camera. I really just try to forget about what other people hear because there's nothing I can do about it right now, hormone therapy will slowly fix it, but I hate being so patient with it.

The first time I ever really heard myself on video was when I started making video reviews on here, Didn't sound like I expected but I don't mind it. My videos here have actually gotten me used to hearing it now.

Have heard my own voice on a recording many times and hate it. It sounds nasal and whiney, no wonder I prefer typing out my thoughts rather than voicing them.

I don't like to listen to recordings of my own voice. I think it sounds childish.
