Are you the type that has to take pictures of every event/holiday/special occasion, or have you never touched a camera?
Do you like taking pictures?

I think if I had a nice phone with a really good camera I would take a lot more pictures. I never think ahead or want to carry an actual camera so I rarely end up taking pictures. Usually I only take pictures of really funny or odd things.

I take WAY too many

Yes, Yes, Yes - LOVE taking photos!

Me too!

Unless you count sex toy related things, my camera only gets used about three times a year. Not much of a picture person. This is probably related to the fact that I'm not much of an "adventure" person, so there's rarely anything to take a picture *of*.

I try to take pictures as often as I can, but it doesn't always work out in my favor unfortunately.

I'm a professional photographer and I just love capturing moments so yeah I've got thousands of photos.

I used to print my own black and white prints, years ago. My Man and I were going to set up a dark room in our basement, when we bought our first house. I got pregnant, and I thought, "Well, the dark room will give me something to do between feeding and changing the baby." LOL!!!! I was so naive. That baby took the life out of me. I have bottles and chemical pans and tongs and a things, and an enlarger and even a print dryer. It's all in our attic and was never set up. *sigh*
Now, with digital cameras, it's so different.
But, I take a lot of photos. So many that I am not in most of them, because I'm behind the camera.
(Brag Alert I saved a friend's wedding once. Her photographer really screwed up her pictures (the a hole didn't know how to program a camera to work with a flash, is seems) and nearly all the pictures he took, after the first roll or two were ruined. I had been taking pictures the entire time, thinking I'd give them to her husband and her later. When I told her I had the entire wedding and even the preparation on disks, she was ecstatic. She gave the photo place the disks and they said, "We don't use other people's work." She said, "You can't use his work, because there are only a few dozen pictures. Use these." I believe there was an ultimatum, with a lawyer's name being used. They used my pictures. They also refunded part, but not all of her money, as some of his pictures were usable.
Anyway, I love to take pictures, but I hate putting them in albums and hate getting them printed. So, they sit on the computer or on disks or our external drive most of the time.

I'm pretty terrible with a camera so I don't take a lot of photos. I'd really love to take a class so I get more comfortable with my camera and composition.

Not only do we like taking pictures, we like posting them. And no I'm not going to tell you where. :p

I love taking pictures My kids really enjoy looking through the scrapbooks I make of them when they were babies or of my childhood, it's a great way to take a trip down memory lane with them

When the kids were smaller we took lots of pictures - not so much now.
One thing that surprised me was that since we got digital cameras we take fewer pictures. Early digital cameras produced such lousy pictures - especially at night that we stopped taking them. But even though the cameras are better now - we're out of the habit - we don't even bother with phone pics very often.

I take lots of pictures. I am just to lazy to take them to be printed. My daughter got a kit for making scrap books so maybe ill print some of my pictures and make a scrap book one of theses days. We are always so busy with school work and other activities that we dont spend too much time at home.

I'm a quasi-professional photographer in that I've had a few photos published in magazines and I take high quality photos for the books I'm working on.

I take lots of pictures. I have a toddler, so yeah. A camera is a necessary item. In fact I just got a shiny new Nikon S4000 and I LOVE IT.
01/24/2011
I LOVE taking pictures. I never get them developed, though. That's a down side with the whole digital camera thing. There's nothing forcing you to print them out.
01/24/2011
I'd like to take more pictures than I do. Carrying around my camera is just kind of a pain. The camera on my Blackberry isn't great, and that's all I snap the occasional picture with nowadays.
01/24/2011
I have tens of thousands of pictures. I love taking them.
01/24/2011
I have between 70K and 90K photos, right now. And that number is about to grow exponentially now that I have a new camera that I LOVE!

I constantly take pictures. And tons of video as well. Each year I send family DVDs out, and last year's had 10 volumes (2 discs per volume) of video and slideshows.
On top of the digital pictures, I have boxes upon boxes of photos and negatives that will one day get scanned.

Well, I am a photographer by trade, so this question isn't really fair for me to answer. I did just look at my flickr account and there are almost 20,000 images on there. That is not counting the ten years of negatives I have in my house.
I even have film in my fridge, waiting for what? I don't know.

We take pictures constantly. Several times a day. We actually have another computer in our house which we have all the pics backed up on.
01/24/2011
we take alot of pictures of our boys. but other then that, we dont use the camera much. too much of a bother to take a camera with you where ever you go. I guess if I were to buy a new camera that was smaller and still took really good pictures, we would take more.

That's impressive - but at no on has time to look at even a fraction of that number of pictures. Hopefully there is some way to sort or rank them so that you can pick a specific time or place.
