I take some pictures, though not very many. My camera is a battery hog and will not accept probably 60% of the batteries I buy for it. It doesn't matter what brand, it will just say that all of the new batteries in the package are dead. Mostly I just take pictures of stuff I am selling on eBay .
Do you like taking pictures?

I have tons of pics....my computer is loaded with them also. Even have back ups on cd's. Never leave the house w/o my camera.

If I go on vacation, I'll take a ton of pictures. But it's just a dinner or going out to a party or something, why would I really bring my camera? It's nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary.

lol I'm so there! I totally went digital but I still hang onto my film. Still like doing black and whites the old fashioned way but convenience is so much more friendly.

Did you cry when they pulled Kodachrome off of the market this month? I almost did. So many memories with that fine stuff.

And they no longer carry the chemicals for it, I have heard. Can't even develop the slides at home, if you ever did stuff like that. Home slide developing was beyond my amateur level, but I did love Kodachrome for a lot of stuff.

If my camera wasn't slightly broken I'd be taking a lot more pictures. It's just a pain in the ass to operate the way it is.
01/25/2011
I love it!

I'm the person people invite knowing they won't have to bring their cam since I will be taking pictures like the stereotype of the asian who got their first cam (no offense to asians, I find that stereotype funny and know it isnt true)

How many folks here have an SLR?

I have a really nice one, older, it's a Pentax ME Super. I haven't used it for a long time. Film is getting harder and harder to develop and I have pretty much gone digital.

It is also broken, as it needs a new spring and latch on the back to keep it closed. When I looked years ago, finding someone to fix it was difficult.
I had good times with that camera. I had all kinds of lenses, my favorite was a 36-105 mm with a close focus ability. I could do amazing things with that lens.
We just don't have the money right now to invest in a digital camera with changeable lens capacity. Our digital is a good camera, but I miss the versatility of all the lenses I had.

I should buy a spare camera....
01/26/2011
Half the time I forget to bring my camera and the other half of the time the battery is just about dead. But I do try to take a fair amount of pictures

I love taking pictures, but not of myself - I'm too perfectionistic (is there a word like that?)
01/29/2011
I don't mind taking them of myself. I love when my lady takes them or when we take them of each other, but she's picky about which ones we keep. I think she looks great in all of them of course.

We love taking pictures.

I love taking pictures ...

I rarely take pictures for anything except my toy review. Where I take at least one picture of the product usually more.

I take some pictures, but usually I regret after the fact that I didn't take more or that I completely forgot the camera and don't have any!

I take loads of photos; I have a DSLR Nikon. I started off with a SLR Pentax, and I know how to develop my own film as well as do all my own prints
I wish I could continue with manual printing, but paper is so expensive, and chemicals are pricey, too. Maybe some day I'll be able to have my own darkroom, but I can't dream of that for a long time.
Still, I started off manual and I'll always be a manual girl.
I've got about 15,000 photos on my computer at the moment, and more negatives than I can count.

I love taking pictures, especially at my medieval events.

I love taking pics, but I rarely take any of me. I mostly take photos of food, funny signs, and places.

I really love taking pictures. I have a Canon T1i DSLR. I'm hoping to turn my photography into a career, but it's pretty difficult.
02/15/2011
I'm really not a picture kind of person. I don't like being in them and I never remember to 'document the moment' for special occasions. I take pictures with my camera when I want to show someone something (Look at what I cooked for dinner!! Look at the new socks I bought! all very pressing things -.-), but that's about it.

I like taking pictures, but at the same time I don' really like caring my camera around so most of the time I don't end up taking any. I'd love to join a photography class to take better photos.

I take a TON of pictures. I had to start cutting down this year so I could actually participate in events instead of just photo-cataloguing them. Its funny that I have so many pictures but very few with me in them; maybe that's why I want to model, so I can have a load of pictures of only me!
