If you exercise tell me why you do it? if you choose health then explain what is happening with your health if any, like diabetes.
Do you exercise for your health or looks?

I have a connective tissue disorder which makes me very, very prone to injury, dislocations, and subluxations (a partial dislocation). For me, exercising is both slightly dangerous (because it increases my risk of injury to a degree), but it is also a necessity, because I absolutely HAVE to keep my muscles as strong as possible. Plus, I also have another condition which reacts very poorly to not being active. It's a rough road for me, but I love being active - I just wish I wasn't injured so easily.

I'd like to say it is for my health, but that's not really true. I have a somewhat complicated relationship with exercise due to my history of an eating disorder.

When I do exercise I do it for both. I really don't have any health issues. But I am not happy with the weight I did put on and know if it goes any higher it will be unhealthy.

Both... but honestly, mostly for shallow reasons...

When I do, its for both.

I really don't think working out improves my looks...but it does make me feel good :3

Sometimes and for both.

Both, kinda. The activities I do for exercise happen to be passions and hobbies of a sort. So, I'd do what I do either way, but it does benefit my health and looks.
12/04/2012
Mainly my health but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the way it made me look.

Both really, mostly I want to avoid getting diabetes (most of the ladies in our family get it at some point) and to lose some weight because I felt healthier at a lower weight.
But being able to buy cuter clothes, eat out without feeling like everyone is secretly thinking horrid things about me, and feel substantially less self-conscious in public are perks I certainly won't turn down. xD

Both, but more for health. It's nice to not get sick as often.

For my health. But I usually don't have the time.

What is this "exercise" you speak of?
12/04/2012
Mostly for my health, but everyone wants look good.
12/04/2012
I don't currently exercise, but when I get motivated to it's for appearances.

Both

Both. I know it's healthy for me, but I'm also incredibly vain
12/04/2012
Both. I like to be healthy and look hot too

I love the way it makes me look and feel. It may or may not extend my life - that's not the point - but I wouldn't mind if it were to be an unintended consequences!

I guess for look.
But I exercise very few, at the moment pelvic floor. Is this look or health?

Both, I like to look good but I'm also a health conscious person. I haven't exercised as much as I should lately, been really busy working.

It is definitely about 40/60 for me. 60% for my health and 40% image. While I am happy with my image, I do remind myself that staying in shape will be helpful to obtain things the way they are. So that is a contributing factor to why I work out, but it's not the only reason or else I don't think it'd be reason enough. I cannot say my image is not important, and I cannot say it doesn't contribute to my motivation to exercise or use my anti-aging creams.

I am really big on my health though. I do a lot to keep healthy. I believe knowledge is power (sorry, lame I know. Lol) so I keep myself as informed on how to keep myself as healthy as possible, and I work hard for it.
As far as exercise goes... I am getting back into yoga and that is definitely more for health reasons than anything else. But I also work out using my fitness pole, which is obviously for both. I have dropped a lot of my exercising routines since I began using my pole because I find they're simply no longer needed. 20 minutes on my pole works out every single muscle in my body (including my forehead I'd about bet!) LOL.
It makes me feel good because I want to get on my pole and see how much progress I've made. I know for sure it's giving me the best workout I can get, and that makes it really easy to not slack. But I also like the release from it. I can wear myself out of any emotion on the pole. It's handy for many reasons, and I definitely feel better about obtaining my image by using the pole because I know I can do it. I know I won't give up because it's one thing. It's not a million different exercises requiring equally as many equipment products to do it. If this makes any sense.
