Breakfast in bed....sounds romantic. Then you add in the "lazy bum" and boy, that sounds so funny.

But, every now and then, I will bring my lady breakfast in bed. Because she's a lazy bum and I let her be :p less

...um....sounds like you need to move to a different place, or have a good air conditioner/heating expert come in and work with you and an upgraded system and some insulation. Having a home in which I was not comfortable would be the ultimate in yuk. Mind you, it does not need to be expensive to fix problems if you can seal leaks and add some insulating material yourself. I know. I have done it.

What is it about cats doing that ; all of mine do that as well. Sometimes, if you put the plate with the morsel on it far enough away from you & let them approach, they'll eat it off the plate. I have one who won't eat what's offered until she sees another cat eat it first. And two of my cats trade dishes halfway through eating, because the grass is always greener in the other cat's dish, even if it's the same flavor! I keep a small hand held vacuum in the nightstand because I'm the princess with the pea when it comes to grit!

"Down in front" that made me laugh.

We usually don't eat food in bed, as we hate crumbs in the bed and we have three dogs who would....pardon the pun, hound us for some. Well, last night we broke our own rule. We were being lazy, having gone to bed far earlier then usual, and while "channel surfing" we noticed that they had the "TV premier" of Iron Man 2, so we decided to watch, and hubby went and got a big bowl of Chex Mix, and three cups of water (one for each of us and one for the dogs to share), and we all sat in bed and watched the movie, while munching. The hardest part was telling the dogs to go "down in front", so we could see...but finally they too caught on and realized that just laying there, with their heads in our laps, was getting them pretzels.
