Do you ever eat in bed? (We mean food)!!!

We usually don't eat food in bed, as we hate crumbs in the bed and we have three dogs who would....pardon the pun, hound us for some. Well, last night we broke our own rule. We were being lazy, having gone to bed far earlier then usual, and while "channel surfing" we noticed that they had the "TV premier" of Iron Man 2, so we decided to watch, and hubby went and got a big bowl of Chex Mix, and three cups of water (one for each of us and one for the dogs to share), and we all sat in bed and watched the movie, while munching. The hardest part was telling the dogs to go "down in front", so we could see...but finally they too caught on and realized that just laying there, with their heads in our laps, was getting them pretzels. We had a great little family time there.

Anyone else ever "eat in bed"? When/why?

I do a lot more often than my girlfriend does. I have the BAD tendency to eat chips while reading. Which is a super mindless eating task which usually lands me in the body image slammer.

But, every now and then, I will bring my lady breakfast in bed. Because she's a lazy bum and I let her be :p

We do all the time....sometimes a snack during a movie, but sometimes we eat later after the kids are asleep if what we want is different than what they eat.

It depends. If it's really late and its something not too messy then sure. But I'm similar with the whole not liking crumbs, dirt, (I call it "grit" )in the bed. My cat's bad about taking a piece I offer and wanting to remove it from the plate and then eat it on my comforter. It's like umm excuse me...plate? but you can't explain that to them lol. "Down in front" that made me laugh.

I don't like kitchen tables...They tend to be out of the warm/perfect environment of my room. It's cold/horribly hot in our living room/kitchen a majority of the time so eating out there is impossible. Plus there is no TV in there. I have never been a "sit with the family and eat" type.

Yeah...my sweetie doesn't have a dining room table (hey, we're students!). So we eat dinner while sitting on the bed.

We used to all the time before we moved into our apartment (over a year ago now). We used to watch movies in bed and snack while we watched them. Now, we don't watch anything in our room so we don't snack there.

I think once, when I was really, really sick, Master made me breakfast in bed. We don't normally eat in there, though.

I'm pretty much the same as JustLikeHeaven
My room is my personal space and where I'm most comfortable in my house so I tend to take food back there (since I eat at a snail's pace) and eat while on the computer.
This inevitably leads to eating 'on the bed' - but usually i sit on the edge to avoid crumbs on my blankets.

I have a dog who begs for food too - but they do that regardless of where I am in the house so... -shrug-

i put other because "we" don't...she does. i do not...unless you are counting vagina...but you are not. so, "we" do not. she does. and it drives me nuts. but not as much as when she clips her toe nails in bed.

Our bed is a thin mat on the floor in the corner of our room, and there's no TV or anything else near it, I'd rather not eat there. XD I'm not a big fan of food in bed.
