Not at all. I just got to the closest place and don't really look at the cost. I know I need to get from A to B.
Do you drive out of your way for cheap gas?

i go to the same gas station every time, which typically is cheaper anyways and on my way home.

My family, however, is the opposite. They will actually drive pretty far out of their way (next city over) to get cheaper gas, even if they're arguably spending more than they save. less

There is one gas station that's easy to get to on my way home. Whatever they want to charge is fine with me.

I've often thought that gas was cheaper in NJ because it's all full service. There's much less chance of theft by filling up and leaving without paying. Also, I would think there would be less liability since only hired staff would be using the pumps. I may be wrong about that, though.

We just buy it at the cheapest decent gas station close to us. When we're traveling, we always fill up before leaving NJ, because it's more everywhere else, usually A LOT more. And we have full-service here. Go figure.

Nope, since the cheap gas stations are way out of the way around here, so I'd end up with a net loss

depends

It depends how much cheaper it is! I like to go get gas at Costco when I'm shopping.

depending on the area im in and if i know where i am. I always try to check out gas prices on my way somewhere and try to stop at the cheapest place on my way back. If it wont cost me more to go out of my way to fill my tank for cheaper i will, but if it takes more than an 1/8 of a tank just to get to the station it's just not worth it for me.

No, but I usually will hit which ever is cheapest and close.
