I drink a LOT of fluid during the day. It's not always water, but I know I get enough.
Also, the 8X8oz water thing: that's minimum recommended water intake. You should (if at all possible) be drinking at least you body weight (in pounds) in oz of water.
If I did this.... well.... That's a lot of damn water.

I usually follow the "if you are thirsty, drink some water." rule which usually puts me well over 64oz.

I normally get between 6 and 8 a day... this is great for me considering I just started drinking water in Jan... till then I never would drink it... it was always Diet Pepsi or sweet tea... boy has that changed!

With my job not allowing water behind the counter, I'm frequently dehydrated at don't get near enough water on the days I work. Plus, it's city water, ew.

I don't drink water at all.

I drink much more than 8 8oz per day. I think having water in the door of your refrigerator or a Brita (or similar) pitcher helps because you then have filtered water at the ready anytime and it cuts down on your waste from plastic bottles.

I've been measuring out my intake with a reusable bottle, and discovered I'd only been consuming 10-20oz. of actual water with about 10-20oz. of tea. So I've upped my water intake to at least 40oz. per day and kept at my usual tea consumption (which does not have sugar). With the odd-addition of veggies, I've made minimum at least. Although I should probably consume another 40oz. more to break even on the body weight rule.
But I'm peeing like crazy as it is!

Yes, I drink water all day.

I drink a lot of water in a day, probably about a gallon. My body is so used to it that if I don't I feel dehydrated. I finish off the day with some water with hops in it;-)

I'm sure I rarely make it to 8 glasses. I mostly drink tea all day.
03/01/2013
Usually... but not always.
03/01/2013
I drink that and then some. I carry a 32oz water bottle with me everywhere and refill it multiple times a day.

I only drink carbonated, filtered water that I carbonate myself.
I used to drink only Perrier, but that got way too expensive, though it's still the best ever! I used to drink diet soda with no caffeine, but to make the doctors quit bitching at me, I switched & found I actually I prefer the non flavor of a seltzer style.
I have always had trouble drinking plain water, it sits like lead in my gut & I can't ever drink much of it. I've been that way my whole life & don't know what the reason is for it, but it's not "in my head".
I cannot tolerate drinking sweet drinks other than maybe a little orange juice, maybe, but I have to wash it down with something not sweet.

At my gym, they recommend consuming half your body weight in ounces of water each day, not your entire amount if weight. Either way, it is a lot of damn water!

I don't, but I'm rarely thirsty so think I'm doing okay.

That's the body-weight rule I was referring to. It makes sense, really, especially since not all bodies require the same amount of fluids.
