Hot tea is perfect for certain illnesses and yes, I'll drink it.
Do you drink tea when you're sick?

Eucalyptus slams open the sinuses. It's an ingredient in a respiratory support tea I drink sometimes that is currently the only reason I am able to breathe out of my nose!

The herbal teas you name are the ones I choose, too (although I have never had eucalyptus). I think it makes a positive difference in how I feel.

Yep -- sick and when I'm not sick just for the health benefits of the teas like oolong, rooibos, herbal teas, etc. I actually don't care for the taste at all, but drink them for the benefits.

I have a cold, and am constantly drinking medicinal tea. When I stop, I feel worse almost immediately. Ginger, lemon, honey, mint, eucalyptus, or whatever I have in the kitchen - I'm not picky! It's like a liquid hug for my poor sore

PS. I've been sick for the past week too. Have you tried taking 100% pure honey everyday throughout the sickness? That's another thing I do and it's extremely helpful for your throat and even has lots of benefits to it and not to mention will give you a little energy back. You mentioned drinking honey tea -- it'd probably be a big boost to add some pure honey in too.

I drink tea sometimes, if I am ill it depends on what with. A sore throat then I would, a stomach bug then no I wouldn't.

I drink about a potful to two potfuls of tea a day even when I'm not sick. When I do get sick I switch the type of tea I drink.

I definitely have been! Raw honey, fermented food, hot sauce, miso, different kinds of medicinal teas - I'm not taking this lying down! Well... (looks around bed)
