Sure there is. Right now I dislike the new product pages but it's even worse that some products use the old style. Now that there's three styles i NEVER know what to expect and that is a little ridiculous in IMO.

While I like the idea of the points system, I hate that the forums have basically become useless because of it.

I agree about the points thing. I'll notice ridiculous comments on my questions such as just a "" or a "Ha ha". Stupid things like that make me upset. But then again, it isn't toally EF's fault. I just think people should be required to type a certain amount of words in the forum to get their points. At least 5 lmao!

I currently dislike some of the changes, but some of them have been really helpful. such as the ability to see the most helpful review. that's always good for me.

I dont like that they dont stop selling products with poor reviews on them. I would think that after so many bad reviews, and or products being sent back, the item should be pulled.
And the forums, everyday you see a question about fav sex position, or a link to a product with the comment of "i like". useless post's.

I've noticed that they sometimes don't sell products that they've had reviewed but that the reviewers didn't like. Maybe they continue to sell some products that have bad reviews because they still have them in stock.

The only thing that I don't like are comments on reviews that say nothing (i.e., "thanks for the review, good review, and now there seem to be far too many that just say "thanks").

Overall, I think EF is great.

I think EF rocks, but I think, as you guys have mentionned that their are a few bad apples that are annoying in the forums or comments on reviews.

It sort of confuses me when someone has written a mediocre review and 5 people write "great review, thanks". It sort of misleads the reviewer to think that their subpar review is good. I have been trying to help my students identify genuine comments from point collecting comments, to gage the usefulness of their reviews.

I hate that the shipping to AU changed from courier to snail mail since the move!

Plus I have to agree with the annoying spam threads here in the forum! Perhaps we should only get points for one thread start per day. It won't stop those point farmers totally but cuts it down some.

Also the change to the list of reviews on products. There's no reason why there can't be the graph along with leaving the review list the way they were!

i find the website navigation as a whole really confusing & not at all accessible. i've managed to figure it out for the most part but i think the website is a huge headache.

i also agree that it would be really cool if there were some sort of additional requirement for forum posts or review comments to get points, to encourage people to make more substantial posts.

I'm not sure if it qualifies as a "dislike," but I really REALLY wish they'd mention if a lingerie item is latex free in the product description like they do with the toys. "Mesh" and "stretch lace" are catch-all terms for materials that may or may not contain latex, and Spandex is only guaranteed latex-free if it's Dupont brand. We'd buy more lingerie here if we didn't have to try to contact the manufacturer about every piece that interested us.

Occasionally I'll come across a picture for a product that's inaccurate, usually because the product's been updated. Not too often, but I do see stuff like that from time to time. Though I've been on here long enough to see at least one photo updated (that of the Ocean Breeze), so I suppose it's just a matter of time in most cases.

This definitely happened to me with about 4 glass products so far. It's not so much EF's fault, but more the manufacturer's for changing the design randomly. EF should still keep us updated though.

Basically what everyone else has said. The forum and review comment spamming is getting a bit ridiculous. It's annoying to get "" as a comment. At least try to say something! It's such obvious point farming. I understand "thanks" and whatnot, as I think a lot of people just don't necessarily have anything else to say about the review but want to leave something nice to the reviewer. But a smilie? Erg.

I also HATE coming to the forum and having to weed through pages of games or "Is this toy good?" to get to the solid stuff. Is it a good toy? Read some reviews. There are TONS. The games...I don't know. They bug me. I mean, it can be fun, but I think there should be a separate section for them. Or a way to filter them out. Something.

I also dislike the new product pages. It makes reviews that aren't super positive or super negative just fall into the background. Plus, the formula for what reviews get featured there is way off. A review with five "extremely useful" votes would be there, over a review with 30 "extremely useful" votes and one "useful." It makes not sense. Not to mention that it makes it really hard for us to search for products to review, since you have to go to the bottom of the review to see if it was free of charge or not. Sigh.

I love EF, and I really hate to complain. Most of the annoying stuff comes from people, not from EF itself. I do think there could also be some improvements to functionality and navigation, as Petite Valentine said.

Agreed. I feel like every time I log onto EF I'm discovering a new corner of the website that I didn't know existed. This usually happens through forum discussions with members praising or critiquing some aspect of the site. While it is really exciting to learn new things about my beloved EF community, I'm usually overwhelmed with the feeling that I've been missing out on something great all along.

This.

My biggest pet peeve is all the items that go out of stock and stay that way for a long time, and we are talking months.

They never seem to come back, but they are never discontinued. They just sit there and I drool over them for nothing.

Then there are the ones that get discontinued real quick, which always makes me sad.

I agree with the point farming, and I wish they could get someone to go through and get rid of all the stupid threads. I am sick of seeing the same people start countless random threads on "which one should I get?" daily. You aren't going to make that many orders, are you? You're going to order 5 different vibrators, a different one each day?

I can't wait until the forum gets upgraded, I hate weeding through that shit, and it's really annoying to see the stupid shit people put to get points. Like they actually think that we don't notice?

Hey, guys:

I'm sticking my head in here to say a few things.

First, the staff and I want to thank you all for all of this great feedback. While we may not respond to every post here (we are hella busy), we do note each suggestion and discuss it.

Second, there is a thread that was made specifically for feedback about the forums in general if you'd like to take a look. link

Third, there are some big changes coming to the EdenPoints program. I have a feeling they're going to make a lot of people happy.

Keep discussing!

I am so happy to hear about point changes. I have a feeling they'll be good. I do hope that zero points will be awarded for game posts and 'which product should I get' posts. Also for posts where its the tenth time someone's asked the same question.

I too am bothered by the oddly severe penalty regarding the order of reviews for less than Extremely Useful votes.

Unlike others, I like the new product pages. I think they're terrific, although they do give reviewers some incentive for voting either 1 or 5 stars.

What you CAN do, is look at the forum in each section. When you get to "Lounge" you may have to be a little more conscientious of going sub-category by sub-category... which is not ideal (filtering out one section (or multiple) would be useful!), but it is a solution until some things get changed. I participate in games on a fairly sporadic basis. When I started on EF though, I did use the games as a way to get to know the forums and contributors and as I became more confident, I started interacting in other topics. I think the games are great for n00bs, but I'd love to be able to filter them out now.

Zuul and JR are AWESOME at getting to the spammers, like I said, so I think that those are things that just take time. You are always free to email them if you notice incessant spamming by one particular person, but marking a thread or post as Spam usually gets handled in a fairly timely fashion.

As for navigating the site, this is one of the ways that having a mentor can be so fruitful! You have your own, personal answer-man(gal)! OR... ask some of the more active folks on the site, most all of us are willing and ready to help answer questions. I know I wish more people would ask ME questions!

I can see your point with the game posts, they're rather out of control, but I don't think every instance of 'which one should I get' is point farming. I find many of those threads useful since people will provide info about specific products that normally require reading through 15+ reviews to find. When I last did a 'which one' post, someone threw out a product link that wasn't part of my comparison, and that's the product I ended up getting. I think these posts are legitimate if not abused (i.e. five a day, everyday).

Yes! If that happens I think the forum will become much more useful. I also agree with you on the order of reviews for less than Extremely useful.

In the Community Planning Meeting Sam said she thinks people dole out extremely useful too often and I agree. I think Eden is great, but the voting is skewed. I'm afraid of voting Useful a lot of the time so I end up only voting on reviews I think are extremely useful. Another thing I don't like is that people vote on products they don't even own. If they like the look of it or if it the hot toy at the moment they will give it 5 stars. Because of this I can never trust the rating of a toy.

I know many of the 'which one should I get' threads aren't point farming. I'm just saying they annoy me because there are so many of them and its a terrible way to decide anyway. So many people vote when they haven't even used any of the products.

The only thing that bothers me a little is the new product pages. I'm kinda wierd when it comes to picking which reviews I want to read, and the new format makes it a little more complicated to see all the reviews.
