Curssing ?

I do try not to cuss in open forums like this one. In 'real' life, I swear like a sailor and I learned at my Mother's knee!

I try to limit it, but it slips out some. I'm not the kind of person who's constantly using all kinds of vulgar language, but the regular shi*, bitc*, and when I'm very upset the F-bomb! Nothing extreme usually and I limit it!

It depends on who's within earshot, around my aunts I'm not allowed to curse so I have to find substitutions. x'D

If I feel a swear word is warranted, then I'll use it.

Same here, I try to stay away from really vulgar language. I do use the words shit and damn sometimes, and if I'm really pissed at something, I will mutter the F-word.

Sometimes strong emotions call for strong words. Sometimes swearing is funny, at least in my twisted sense of humor.
I grew up in a rough neighborhood and kids were swearing when they dropped their pacifiers when I was a kid. I don't think it reflect IQ at all, I've had professors swear like crazy at University. (And it was a Catholic University!)
I laugh when people say, "Oh shhhh-sugar!" or some ridiculous substitute.
Of course, the way some teenage boys swear is also silly. "M F this and M F that." constantly gets boring and ridiculous.
It's all in the context. If I'm really angry or being really funny, I'll probably swear. I don't swear at work, obviously, but in social situations, I can usually make people laugh with colorful language.
