None! I'd like to get a travel rewards one, though, just to make some basic (and carefully followed) purchases and earn some airline miles.

I have one Visa and two store cards that I don't really use. And I really don't even use my Visa. Fortunately my Check Card and my Visa card use the same point system and I get identical points, so I tend to just use my check card.

I own two of them. I never understood how people get 5-8 of them. I've seen people on t.v or that i've met that are 60,000-80,000 in debt. How?? and thats just from credit cards.

I only have two. I got the second one at my mother's insistence when I was living abroad - she said I needed it just in case there was an emergency. I won't be getting any more because I don't need any credit card debt - I already have more than enough student loan debt.

I just got one last month.

I just have a small one ($500 credit limit only).

I just have one, and I only keep that around for the rewards and for hotels/online purchases that might be iffy.

One credit, one debit! The credit is for emergencies!

I have one Visa and one Discovercard. We use the Discovercard for larger purchases, as it gets us great cash back bonuses, and we pay the balance off immediately.

i aint got no credit cards.
i aim to keep it that way too.
credit cards are one of the best tools for getting banks large amounts of money from as many sources as possible.
i dont like PAYING banks, just doesn't seem right as i am already letting them hold and circulate my money however they want.

I have one, do NOT want another one. It could be potentially dangerous for me.

No way! No credit cards for me. I have a debit card only and I cannot go over. I can only spend what's in the account which isn't bad or good, but it's not as horrific as a credit card and there's not serious fees to worry about if you're responsible. I'm very good with money though so I wouldn't ever go over my amount, but I am a credit card hater. Never want to ever get into that kind of disaster. Better off staying away in my case.

I have two. I use one regularly as my debit card, and to cover immediate purchases that have to be done now but I don't have the cash for. I try my best to use it as a debit card so that it all gets paid off regularly and I can get the rewards points. Those points will eventually get turned into a super awesome vacation for my husband and myself.
I have another card that was actually my first one, and that one gets used for things that I want to keep a close eye on, like if I make a purchase out of the country. It's completely paid off, so I know that it should only have my charges on it and if somebody stole the number, I'll be able to spot that easier.

I was curious where was the option for "zero" lol..
I no longer have a CC, but I still have a debt from one of them. When I was able to get a credit card, I did. I was too young, and didn't know any better. So today, at age 24 I am still paying the last one off. Ugh.

I have 3, but I'm very careful with them and really only use them to establish good credit so I can buy a house in a few years.

Too many, with limits too high.
Thankfully, they are all owing less than half.

I have two join credit cards with my husband and one of my own.

I don't have any now. At one point I had 3 or 4, but times turned rough and I was dumb. I ended up doing a bankruptcy in 2006.
