I used to use a lot of coupons when our first batch of children were really little. When I realized that the store brands are still usually cheaper than a brand name with a coupon, I stopped using them for everything except those few things that we had to have the brand name of.

I had a coupon organizer and everything. In Chicago, the food prices are so high, that you nearly always save money buying generic or store brand.

As for other coupons, like paper coupons, I lose them.

I use online coupons though, mostly because you don't lose them.

I have a coupon book and every time I go to a store I use it. I get like 10 coupon books every week because a lot of my family work at a newspaper place.

If they are available to me then I'll certainly use them. But I wouldn't start buying the newspaper just for coupons.

I use them for discounts on things I would buy anyway, but I wouldn't make purchases based solely on coupons.

we are a one income low income family so they are a necessity. I try not to pay full price for most things, but have no choice sometimes. Saving on necessity's allows us to spoil ourselves in other ways.

I'm in chicagoland and for me thats not true, I can usually get the name brand cheaper combining sales and coupons, and when I can't, I buy generic.

I love coupons, as long as they provide a decent effort-to-savings ratio. Meaning, I don't have to go out of my way to buy products A, B, and C in order to get savings on product D. I hate those coupons.

I LOVE all coupons, especially Target ones. My friend and I will go and pile our coupons and share them/divvy them up.

But RetailMeNot.com has ruined me for physical coupons. I stack coupons and am an expert at doing sales + stacked online coupons.

I love coupons and even have my husband looking for a coupon online before he purchases things. He was so excited he saved some money on his antivirus software.
