I love coupons but the last few times I have gotten them, I havent used them ..

I loooove coupons. Especially for things I was going to be purchasing anyway. I sometimes go out of my way to look for them/cut them out, but not always. And I don't shop only for things I have coupons for either. If I gotta have it, then I gotta have it.

I don't use every one I get, but I curtually never buy anything without a coupon from now on.

I’m a stereotypical broke college student, so anything that saves money is awesome, hence I love coupons

I coupon, hardcore. We save all the money we would have spent and go on vacation one year, pay extra on bills the next year. People don't get it. But when we had a good $3,000 to go to Disneyland, I think people started to realize it wasn't a bad idea.

I LOVESSSSSS coupons!
There's so many things that I want that when the coupons come around, there is ALWAYS a heap of items I want and get!

I spend a lot at craft stores and use them almost every time. But I don't like to slow people down behind me in lines, so I rarely used them at busier stores.

I use them whenever I can. I'm pretty disappointed in the ones in the Sunday paper though. I hardly buy any of that stuff!
02/07/2011
I use them fanatically. I pay for about 10-20% overall on the total cost of my groceries and household goods It makes a BIG difference. Plus there are so many websites now that do all the matchups for you, that it's really a no-brainer.

I get them off the internet, store websites, out of the paper, off store shelves, anywhere I can find them! I saved $26 on my last shopping trip. I won't buy certain things without a coupon, like laundry soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.

I love coupons. I once plucked a coupon out of an empty cart for something we were buying. It was a fluke, really. We were walking all over the store looking for something and happened to walk past the electronics section. I glanced into the cart and read the brand name, looked at the box my husband was holding and matched the two in my head. We saved $5 that day, basically making the second item on our list free.
I grew up hearing things like "you can have the box of cereal, or the pop tarts but you can't have both". Or "you can have the toy or you can get a couple of coloring books instead". My mother taught me how to weigh value against utility. If I can save even .25 cents on something, it makes a difference. I think it drives my husband a little nutty, though. He's very brand name oriented but he has gotten a lot better lately.

Big fan! I use them whenever possible.

Coupons are great, I like to save as much as possible, especially when it comes to shopping at sex toy sites and Joanns fabric.

Love them, in fact my wife goes online and gets a bunch every week for grocery shopping. We save a bunch of money each week.
02/07/2011
I love to use them when I can. I don't always go out of my way for them, but if I think it's justifiable...

My SIL and I used to coupon every Sunday but life has taken over and now we never have time. I still use what I have and what I can get my hands on though.

I love coupons. Who doesn't like saving money?!

Coupons can be a real lifesaver sometimes!

Ok so I hear a lot of these websites that supposedly provide you with amazingly good coupons (not just ones for 15cents off that I've found on household items). So what sites would yall recommend? I'm seriously under the poverty line and living with family and could use some awesome coupons!
PS - Who pronounces it as "cue-pon" or "coo-pon". Hehehe I'm so the latter in my every day speech but subconsciously switch to the first to be more standard American English at work.

This isn't exactly a site that distributes coupons but this is where I find out about really good deals and there are also links to coupons you can find online. She updates many times throughout the day to mention promotions going on, free samples, and things of the sort.

I like to plan out my trips ahead of time and see if I've got any coupons I can use, but it doesn't happen too often.

Big fan, I use them whenever I can. There's a lot more American-orientated couponing sites than Canadian though, which does make it harder (plus there's a lot more better deals in the States when it comes to what gets coupons!).

I am a coupon queen. Not quite to the point that I can get $400 of groceries for $20 BUT pretty darn close. I follow a few coupon blogs that find lots of free and BOGO offers.
I see it as a challenge: with all things in life, you spend your money or your time. I like to choose spending time to save some money. I'm very lucky that my sweetheart gets a royal kick out if it ("Look how much free stuff I got!") but that doesn't mean I'm cheap; I like to just save up for nicer things this way. Groupon & such sites have been particularly helpful in having fantastic trips to other cities by paying 1/2 on food, hotels, events,... I'm actually pretty proud with how far I can stretch a dollar.

I have learned that with a little time and effort put into finding coupons for stuff I actually buy and use I have actually saved quite a bit of money.
