Generic versus Name brand Cereals, which is your favorite?

I mostly like name brand

mostly generic, but only because of price.

I can tell the difference between them. I'll eat both but prefer the name brand of most.

I've had a coule of generic brands. Didn't bother me. As long as the taste is still good, I'm all for it!

I pay attention more to the price of the cereal. We used to buy Malt-O-Meal brand all the time because it was way cheaper than most cereals. Now we get some new stuff by Post that ends up being cheaper per ounce than Malt-O-Meal. I do have a few store brand cereals I will not buy because I don't like the taste. We recently bought some Spartan brand cereal from the local IGA that did not taste half as good as the name brand.

I don't have cereals that often. But if I did it would be brand.

Whatever is the better price per amount. However, if the generic is bad, I remember those brands and never buy them again. If the name brand is only a little more, less than $0.50, than I get the name brand.

In most cases, we'll get the brand name, but generally could care less

Usually generic or that Malt-o-Meal bagged stuff unless it's something specific like Count Chocula or Kix (nostalgia, those were my two favorites growing up. xD )
