I had a crazy cat as a child...it used to run down the hallway, jump up on the door frames, then slide down them with its claws dug into the frame. It used to use the bottom of the door frames as scratching posts too...they look horrible to this day! It also used to run down the hall, jump up on the wall, and hit the thermostat with its paws. My parents always thought it was one of the kids changing the temperature on the thermostat, but no, it was the cat! They did finally see it for themselves, so they knew it was true. less
