Funny things cats do?

My cat has done some funny stuff. One time, after using the litter box he had a dingleberry stuck to his butt, and I guess it scared him so he took off across the room at full speed until it fell on the floor. My ex and I laughed so hard over that one. Another time my ex and I were doing it doggy style and all of a sudden the cat jumped on the bed and started batting his balls like they were a toy. I'm sure he's done some other stuff but I can't remember now.

Pees in the toilet.

the other night my cat thought he was a munchkin kitten and sat on his hind legs to gauge the distance it would take for him to jump form the top of my dresser to the top of my closet, even though he's big enough while standing on his backlegs to reach the shelf at the top. it was more cute than funny.
I do get a laugh at my moms cat who gets angry with the dog when he wont pet her after rubbing up against him several times.

Well one thing happened just tonight. My cat Fuzz ran into one bedroom and when I stood at the door, she was sitting on top of a dresser & literally stared me down hard for 20 minutes, non-stop! It sounds like nothing, but Im telling you, this was creepy. She only blinked once & had her neck stuck out real far & her head craned to the side with huge eyes! We laughed and tried everything to distract her and get her to stop staring at me like that & even when I walked away and came back, nothing worked until finally she jumped down and bolted out of the room! Lol. So weird.

Another super weird thing is Fuzz loves mint! I suppose it's because mint is part of the cat nip family or whatever, but this cat really loves it & my others don't even care. She's the only one I've ever had who cared about it. Everyday when my electric toothbrush turns on, she runs for the bathroom. I have to try and remember to shut the door. I forgot today and there she was, pouncing up on the sink and smacking at my toothbrush while it was in my mouth! She even licked my arm trying to convince me to let her have a sniff of the toothbrush. Sometimes, she'll run with me to the bathroom if she notices that is where I'm headed.
I brush my teeth with real spearmint extract, almond oil and peppermint oil, so when Fuzz comes in contact with it, like if I drip some on the sink or if there's leftover on my toothbrush, she goes crazy. Almost like she's high! She'll roll around and forget you're even there. She'll rub her head hard all over whatever has the mint on it! It's crazy.
I remember once my dad's shoes had mint on them because of a foot cream he'd been using and she practically rubbed her entire body on those shoes (when he took em' off) for an hour! She'll just fling herself all over them. LOL.
This happens with any kind of mint -- gum, teeth products, those Snus tobacco pouch things for dipping, anything. It's so funny.

It reminds me of last Sunday. I had some gravy and it was real early in the AM, so I was still very out of it (and had taken some melatonin just hours before, so it wasn't worn off) and anyways, I had some gravy on a fork to dump into the cat/dog bowl & I totally missed the bowl, but didn't know that. I didn't even look to see where it fell because I assumed it made it in the bowl. Then I seen my cat, Fuzz walking backwards with her head down & her right paw lifted abover her head! Turns out, the clump of gravy was stuck in her long eyebrows! Yes, eyebrows. Those whiskery things above their eyes, not on their actual head BAHAHAHAH. I laughed and laughed so hard I couldn't see straight to even get it off her. It was just sitting there in her eyebrows. SO funny. And her with her paw up walking backwards was hilarious. At first, I didn't know what was wrong with her & it startled me because she's walking backwards, then I seen the clump of gravy. TOO funny.
Man I love this thread. I'm "favoriting" it so I can come back and see other funny stories. Keep em' coming, guys!

My cat doesn't like to be held and pet most of the time, but if you use your foot to pet him he absolutely loves it. He'll stretch out and rub against your foot. He also isn't interested in toys or cat beds, he'd rather have ice cubes and a pile of laundry.

Playing fetch! If I throw a small toy my cat will run and get it and bring it back.

Great stuff everyone keep it coming! It's hilarious! I have two cats and they're weird everyday.
Every morning my cat gets really excited that it's morning. He hyper vocalizes and the world must know something wonderful has happend. Or he does it when there's something new. Anyways every morning once the birds start chirping and the smallest ray of sun gets through the blinds he's on it, and he HAS to let the world know," it is morning morning is here, it was night alllll night and now it is morning!!" And he does this hilarious yowling : Low pitched BOW...BOW...ROW ...ROOW higher pitched: REOW reooooow raooooouh raaaaaooouuuh then lower again like he's asking a question mow....? MOW?! And he'll dart around the room knocking things over he's pretty large 16 pounds so its like boom boom boom anyways once the morning ritual is over that's all. He's a quiet cat. And if you pick him up unexpectedly he will silently fart in your arms, to tell you he wasn't ready to be picked up and you made a mistake LOL
My other cat is a kitten still, Siamese so that's self explanatory she has to always talk, always, she likes to beat up my other cat, with her hands in his face, pack pack pack smack smack its funny.

Or when I shower, with the door closed, as I'm getting out I see four little hands desperately sticking through the bottom like little jail people, it's both my cats, that tried to get it, didn't and gave up

There are so many crazy things my cat and cats have done over the years, but right now my favorite funny thing he does is he loves my baby who is 8 months old, he comes down to her and lays on her or lays at her feet and lets her kick him (he is a big cat like 2 feet long or so and 25 pounds he can take a beating) Its hilarious to watch this giant cat take abuse from the little baby. i guess its more cute than anything but its a crack up how much he loves her.

I had a crazy cat as a child...it used to run down the hallway, jump up on the door frames, then slide down them with its claws dug into the frame. It used to use the bottom of the door frames as scratching posts too...they look horrible to this day! It also used to run down the hall, jump up on the wall, and hit the thermostat with its paws. My parents always thought it was one of the kids changing the temperature on the thermostat, but no, it was the cat! They did finally see it for themselves, so they knew it was true.

Great topic!!!! My cat is ancient and overweight but she's vet kittenish with my husband. She weighs about 15lb and my dogs are about 7.5lb and she treats them like pets and sometimes her babies. She cleans their little ears so hard and they just put up with it. I could go on for days about my furkids.

We've had two cats that will play fetch with us. My kitten doesn't like my reading voice, and when I am reading something out loud to my husband, kitty will jump onto the back of my chair and put his paws on my head/face and tell me to shut up. Sometimes he will bite me a little on top of my head (gently though). If I don't shut up, he gets mad and leaves the room.

That's hilarious , my cat will use his box, and we used to have a see through top lid, so he liked rubbing the lid with his paws like a mime well after his poops were covered, I'd say the longest 30 whole minutes. All see through but he doesn't think we can see him, it's kinda transparent he can't see us. Haha
