Can you read and write in cursive?

Yes, and I really enjoy it. It's not practical for me, my cursive takes longer to read than my print, but it is fun.

I don't like it when my teachers write in cursive (due to my poor eye sight and unless it's perfect cursive, people have trouble reading it). I can read it if it's neat but my own cursive is sloppy.

I'm great at writing in it, but sometimes I have a hard time reading people's cursive because they write so messily it's barely legible.

Yes. I think I've gotten worse with age though.

I write in some mash-up of cursive and print, but I can write in it if I want to. Not always the neatest, sadly. Quickest though, second to typing for me.

Yes. My handwriting tends to be a mix of print and cursive, anyhow.

For me it takes more effort to write in print than in cursive. I write almost everything in cursive. Sometimes I find myself mixing it with print but my cursive is dominant. If I'm not writing in cursive, I'm typing.

My cursive is still somehow better than my print despite never using it. I hate reading cursive though- I can, but it takes more effort.

90% of the time I write in cursive. It's easier, faster and prettier than print, IMO. I used to be a eager before I had our daughter and I think cursive school be taught and encouraged.

I don't like it. When I was in college and took a russian language class the printed cyrillic wasn't bad but when I first saw cursive cyrillic it all looked like the same squigle over and over on the page. After that I had no more desire to continue learning russian.
As far as writing english in cursive, that's why I learned to type.

I can read and write in it but my handwriting is terrible. for some reason whenever I write something I seem to go back and forth between print and cursive without even realizing it.

The kindergarden that I went to taught me how to read and write in cursive. Then my family moved and I started first grade at a different school. There, they made me stop writing in cursive and start writing in print. Then in third grade they told everyone that we should stop writing in print and start writing in cursive.
Now my handwriting is a mix of cursive and print.

I still write like that most of the time but I don't when writing notes since some people can not read it.

My grandmother and great aunt still write in cursive and still love to send letters. It takes me a while to get through it and I have to guess some words but what comes next. I love getting their letters but my great aunt's cursive is much harder to read then my grandmothers.

I personally write in what I call cur-print. It's a mix of the two, I'm sure a lot of people don't appreciate it.
I do this too!

I can write in cursive but whether I can read it depends on who wrote it.
