minor piercings in the past. i would like a tattoo, but i can't decide what or where, and i would hate to get something i would not want later...or in a place that would piss me off as the years go by. i also think that, when it comes to tattoos, the bigger the better. i love tattoos that cover large areas...and so this makes it even more compicated to decide on the what and the where if i were to get one.

You shouldn't look at tattoos as 'I might hate this later' it's always possible to cover up or modify old tattoos for one, and second, when you're older you'll be able to look back at that tattoo and remember the times associated with it.
I've a tattoo on my leg that is very crappily done by an amateur, but I don't regret it and I wouldn't cover it up - because I partied with this person and every time I look at it it reminds me of the good times.
I've also got a professional tattoo at the base of my neck - it was the first one I had done - and it precluded a summer of many drunken nights, new friends, trips to a park to watch idiots almost set it on fire on the fourth of July - and my graduation from Highschool.
They are art, but they are art that reflect who you were, what you were like and what you were doing at the time they were done. -shrug- and I can't bring myself to regret things like that.
