I watched a documentary too Maybe you've heard of it? It was very popular. MEN IN BLACK. They even did a couple of follow up reports!

Here's a bizarre alien poll...

I voted "I want to believe" mostly because I've packed the first four seasons of the X-Files into the past week. But thousands sounds very possible, I mean the universe is so incredibly vast there could be millions of other life forms out there.

If WE are here, then LIFE is possible. Since we share this planet with all kinds of life forms, that live in different zones of temperature and pH, we KNOW life is very possible in a fair range of conditions. Thus, how could the universe not be TEEMING with life???? Among the TRILLIONS upon TRILLIONS of planets and stars, there is just no way we are SUCH a complex fluke.

When you think about the size and age of the universe it would be pretty arrogant to assume that our insignificant little planet is the only place on which sentient life could have evolved.

I'm 50/50 on it. I bet there is aliens somewhere.

Galaxy clusters are mind-bogglingly large. I'm sure that not only must one of the planets in one of the galaxies in one of the clusters have a civilization but that civilization has a Starbucks.

Yeah, chances are, there is life outside of earth. Chances of us finding it is extremely thin

Agreed with the above.
There's probably life somewhere, but I doubt we'll ever find it.

I don't think they are intelligent life, the chances of that are astronomical

But it is pretty unlikely we will discover anything more highly advanced than bacteria in our own solar system, and it's even more unlikely that we will get outside our solar system in the next century. less
