Are you voting this election?

Yep, I'll be voting.

I'm registered from years ago, but I'm pretty much done voting for the foreseeable future. People higher than the President and Congress pull the strings, so it doesn't matter who gets elected...the end result will be the same. If and when that changes, I'll participate again.

I'm a registered voter, but I don't know if I'll vote or not.

Yep. The only time I make a point to go out and vote is during the presidential election. I'm a bit apathetic otherwise.

As an independent party member, I would vote for Jello Biafra before anyone, but as far as American elections go, I don't think it matters who I'd vote for. I wouldn't be happy.

I will absolutely vote. One vote may not make a ton of difference, but I was always taught that every voice matters. And, silly but, I vote because I feel that if you don't - you can't complain about who gets elected.

people who put effort into civic engagement get better results than my whining while i watch dancing with the stars, so i'm not participating. letting politicians know they're accountable to no one will change things for the better!

Absolutely! If you don't vote, your voice doesn't count.

Now that the country is safe from Santorum, I can abstain with a clear conscious. Had he he won the GOP I would have been forced to vote for Obama.

I know that I don't want a republican to be President since republicans usually fuck things up just like Bush did. I will vote for Obama for 2 reasons one I think he has improved the economy and the second reason is to piss off my Dad/Grandfather. They automatically think it is wrong for any one to be a democrat since the only other democrat besides myself in the family is my aunt. It pisses my Dad/grandfather off badly that she voted for Obama. My Aunt & I are the black sheep in our family anyway. Which is fine with me since I don't want to be a carbon copy like my other family members.
