I am pretty shy in real life, however it depends on the situation and the crowd I am with. I am usually shy when you first get to know me but then I come out of my shell

I actually manage to be even more shy online than in real life! I feel like it's usually the other way around, haha.

Painfully shy growing up but as I get older I am opening up. It helps that as you get to know who you are you care less and less about what other people think about you and therefore become less shy.

I'm very shy in person until I really get to know someone - then they really get to see who I am as a whole.
I'm me online though, which is why I prefer to get to know people online before meeting them.

My shyness has been melting for the past six months, but I'm still a bit reserved. Unless I'm with a group of people I know (like in class or whatever), then everyone thinks I'm an extrovert. But I'm not an extrovert - too much stimulus exhausts me. I'm just more comfortable in certain situations is all. And what people take to me being extremely funny and gregarious is really me relieving my anxiety by being a smartass.

Pretty much the same for online. My personality is better suited to online life.

I'm introverted, but that doesn't mean I'm shy. I like meaningful conversations with small groups of friends or one-on-one with new people, but tend to be more reserved in larger groups. Sometimes I'll socialize and talk a lot at parties, but most of the time I keep to myself.

I'm shy when I do not know anyone in the room. When I know someone I show my outgoing side. When I'm around my friends, I am extremely outgoing.

In real life, I'm extremely outgoing, even with people I don't know. I actually tend to be more shy and less likely to talk about myself online.

I'm generally the same, online and offline. Though, of course, that depends on the people I'm with. I'm pretty outgoing, but aloof, if that makes sense.

I tend to be pretty outgoing online and in real life although I can be a bit shy when I first meet someone, especially if I am interested in them.

I can be quiet most of the time when I meet new people, but if you get me with my group of friends we're all obnoxious and loud and probably a touch bit offensive if you're just eavesdropping on us.

I am even more outgoing in real life. On the computer I am guarded more because there is a record of everything. In real life people can forget very quickly, and I can usually quick tongued enough to make someone forget a mistake.

I swing both ways. I'm quite outgoing if I'm with a friend or group of people. Then I'll rope random strangers in sometimes. If I'm by myself I'm not as outgoing, unless someone I know shows up. I still start random conversations with strangers sometimes though, which is more than a lot of folks do. *shrugs*

I'm about the same online as I am in real life. I'm fairly outgoing in real life, but only when I'm comfortable. Otherwise, I can be pretty shy.
