ARE YOU "IN LOVE"?
Sure, we automatically say we LOVE our significant other, or those close to us, but isn't it sometimes "comfort", or "familiarity" or just that we love BEING "in love" but are not really IN LOVE with that specific person? Is it that we end up in relationships where MAYBE we did LOVE that person, but now...well, "not so much", even if it is still a "loving" relationship. In short, it is not that real, warm fuzzy IM IN LOVE feeling. Not IN LUST either, but real, deep LOVE.
SO...the touchy question that we all dealt with...and THINK HARD before answering. Be honest (It is private)...IF you are in a relationship (obviously PLEASE don't answer this one if there is no one you COULD be "in love with right now") ARE YOU REALLY "IN LOVE"??? less

I'm IN LOVE with my husband. We've been together more than 20 years and fallen in and out of love a few times.
We're very much in love, right now.

I like this comment a lot, because I think it reflects reality better than Hallmark-isms. This is how love works for many of us that have been together a few years (or decades in your case, and congrats on that, truly!) In a long term relationship you go through hard times, and frankly? No. You aren't in love every second of every day. Sometimes you're furious. Or disappointed. Or just confused. But, at the end of the day, what makes love real (at least for us) is that we choose to stick around and keep working at it. That's the proof of the love at the heart of it all. So even though I may not be "in love" every day, overall, on the whole, yes. I am in love. I am committed to this person. Every day I wake up and choose him.

Last night, my boyfriend kind of talked about how he wouldn't mind living together, but honestly I don't feel our relationship is anywhere near that or love.
