Just wondering how many EF users are currently on a diet plan. I would like to start eating healthier soon since my weight has been up..
Are you currently on a diet?

I have never been on a diet. I have always tried to eat healthy. I have seen too many people waste away eating junk food, not knowing how to even cook something simple like pasta. We cook almost every meal at my house, all from scratch. And all pretty healthy. It is not perfect, but it is so much better then buying pre-made packaged food from the store, or going out to eat every meal.
If you are looking to eat healthier and cook your own meals. I would suggest getting some professional cook books. Ones by chefs for chefs. They are slightly harder to follow along with at home, but the food is so much better and healthier. They use less pre-made ingredients, and more raw products.

I'm doing the Slim Fast plan. Lost 20 lbs so far. It's been slow going, but it's worth it because I'm keeping it off.

I don't diet. I gained about 12 lbs when I was out of work but have lost in all in the past 6 weeks, I only get to eat about once a day so I eat whatever I want. I sure wish I could get to the gym more, that is the right way to loose weight!

Psh not at all I eat everything that doesn't move and if it does, shoot it enough times until it stops

Not trying to lose weight now. I should, though.

I don't diet, but I am exercising to try and trim down.

No diet; we eat healthy and try to avoid pre-packaged foods, sometimes it's unavoidable, but for the most part we don't eat it. We very rarely go out to eat, maybe once every 3-4 months, and it's usually because we just got lazy. We often times indulge and make a big, typically fattier than normal, meal on Sundays. A little indulgence every now and then is good, at least in my book.

Following an eating plan one day at a time, going to Overeaters Anonymous meetings, and working on my mind and soul. I can't plan too far, or else I start panicking. No sugar, flour, fatty foods, or fried foods are to pass my lips. Food abstinence for my sanity is more important than the sugar drunk.

I haven't really been dieting but I have been trying to eat better this summer. I've also been walking on a daily basis.

I've gained a fair bit of weight in the last few months, so I'm trying to lose it now.

I'm on medifast, I've lost 13 pounds in a little over two weeks. That is starting to slow down for now. Several more months of this and I could actually be at my goal weight again.

No, I live a healthy lifestyle that some may call a diet, though.

Not at the moment

i'm not right now. i'm waiting for school to start so i'll have a routine in place. a routine is KEY for me when i'm trying to lose weight.

I've always tried to be healthy, I'm not perfect but I do each less junk food than most probably do

Just wanted to add that I think portion control and awareness is one of the keys to losing weight and keeping it off. It's amazing how much food can typically be served on a normal sized plate. I tend to try and stick with smaller sized portions at mealtimes and we always have at least one type of veggie with supper. Having high fiber and/or healthier snacks throughout the day that are filling also keeps me satisfied.

If you mean a diet as in trying to eat more food, but more of it healthy, then yes.

I don't diet, but try to go to the gym a few times a week.

Not on a "diet" but do watch what I eat to make sure I'm making healthier choices. Stay away from soda and fattening foods and try to eat lean meats, fruits, veggies and whole grains.
