I'm a very artsy and creative person. I love to draw, sketch, paint, make candles, make things out of modelling clay, alter my clothing, etc. I also like getting creative in the kitchen!

I went to Goodwill for the big Halloween sale they have every year and I got all kinds of fun goodies! I picked up these big spools of wire ribbon in fall colors with gold sparkles. I wasn't sure what to do with them but I finally figured something out. I found a video on youtube on how to make big ribbon bows. I made my first bow and it obviously looks like a beginner made it but I'm proud. lol.

I consider myself crafty. I paint, sew, scrapbook, art journal and even do floral arranging from time to time. I am pretty good at baking and I have made some pretty awesome fondant cakes with gum paste flowers. I have done beading in the past, but haven't kept it up. I guess.. if they sell it at Micheal's or Hobby lobby I can find something to do with it.

I crochet, but am still learning so I havent done any gifts yet. I plan on making some baby blankets to give as gifts (2 people I know are expecting).
I really really want to enter the fair next year and see how my stuff does. We shall see.
Currently I'm working on a twin sized afgan for my daughter. She's still in her toddler bed, but when we get our tax return we're getting the kids a nice set of wooden bunkbeds that seperate, that way each has a very nice bed. I'm going to make my son's blanket once I'm done making A's blanket for her. Maybe I'll try to remember to post a photo once its done. It's my first afgan so I'm hoping it turns out.
