Regular Store Bought Chocolate (Palmers, Whitmans Sampler, Hersey's), verses "High End" Chocolate (Neuhouse, See's, Godiva...etc). Does it matter to you which you get or buy?

If it tastes good then it doesn't matter what brand it is to me. I've had high end stuff that tastes pretty gross.

I'll eat about any chocolate except the kind that tastes like.... not chocolate! Lol. Most chocolate is good enough for me, but there are some that I don't care for.

Eh, as long as it's not the worst of the worst I'm good.

I like high end chocolate. Most of the cheapy stuff tastes way too sugary for me, and there are only a few types that I really love. I've never been a big chocolate lover.

Chocolate is chocolate is chocolate lol. Although I would have to say that Lindor is my favorite. THeir white chocolate to be specific. They melt in your mouth

I use lower end chocolate for certain kinds of baked goods, but some of them taste kind of waxy by themselves. Also, most of the Hershey bars don't contain enough cocoa solids to be considered chocolate anymore. They'll be changing labels to chocolate-flavored something or other now.

I get cranky when the hubs spends a ton of money on little treats. I'd rather have a home-made chocolate-covered strawberry than a box of fancy chocolate.

I'm alright with either, but after spending a month in Germany pigging out on chocolate, nothing that's usually available in America quite cuts it anymore!

I've never had high-end chocolates, like Godiva or anything.. so I guess I'm low grade. I'm also quite frugal to begin with LOL

The only chocolate I don't like is the super cheap kind - the kind with no chocolate taste to it. I'm a sucker for more expensive chocolate (although I never buy it for myself), but most often go for the massive bags of dark chocolate, whether Hershey's or Dove.

I go for the high end stuff, both for flavor and because I live in an area where folks sell a lot of slightly more expensive chocolate that is organic and fair trade. I try to buy with consideration for business ethics when I buy chocolate.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE high-end chocolates. Belgian truffles are my favorite, and whenever anyone I know goes overseas to Europe I beg them to stop there and bring me back a box. I will still eat the cheap stuff (Hershey's etc) but I'd rather save up a bit and get some Lindt or Godiva. They have fun flavors and there's a definite difference in quality.

I only like high end chocolates. Everything else tastes so... chalky and waxy. If I'm going to eat treats, they're going to be GOOD treats.

I like most chocolate, but yes I would rather have certain kinds than others. I do like dark chocolate more than milk chocolate.

I love chocolate, obviously the better stuff is worth the price but I can't spend a crazy amount on chocolate whenever I want a bar .i wish I could but i'd rather have candy more often then spend 2x3 the price and less often. fyi if you eat a spoon of peanut butter and a few baking chocolate pieces it's pretty close to a reeses

Glad to see I am not the only serious chocolate snob here, lol!!! I tend to eat "boutique" chocolate (handmade / small batch candy from gourmet candy stores). Rather spend my $$$ on ONE awesome piece of candy than eat a whole mountain of crappy candy.

The only mid range chocolate I really like is Lindt. I think the reason I like that so much is my Granny used to by me Lindor truffles all the time when I was a kid, and they remind me of her.
